The secret of life after one's realization(and THAT is a formidable task,because without trauma you won't abandon your ego,even so you'd think that by going in samadhi you'll make it smooth..beware of my words...ego is ALL you know since birth...ego never dies,but is integrated,if you are lucky to observe the OBSERVER..ponder,grasshoppers..this is deep wisdom I'm telling you,my friends..believe me!!!..because you become the Observer only if you you're lucky ENOUGH  to have some trauma in your life..no other way,even samadhi couldN'T  give you this knowledge..you can be in samadhi for eons and not know the truth..really..I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE..In other words,the realization is instant....but the way you get there is formidable,because you are LOST in the mind realms..by instant I mean you know your self true nature as light..by progressive I mean integration..PONDER GRASSHOPPERS!!! usually people stop at integration,and they thing the progressive light is the one..however,they forget that the very ego is doing it..hmm?..  ) of one's true nature(Tao,or Buddha nature,or the kingdom of heaven within,or all prevailing bliss and awareness of the thoughts,or sensations,or whatever IS manifesting..) is the integration of it..and remember on that point...you must look and find stuff which bothers you outside of yourself(unless you want to be a lasy Ramana Maharish ,siting in meditation all day,and saying is all a dream)
Is a dream from the absolute point..but from the relative is real...and remember..the absolute can't know itself unless is relative..why is that?..imagine yourself being all...would you create an universe where you separate in bits,and by doing that you'd have all the fun touching yourself in infinite possibilities of touching,and knowing yourself?..I think you'd do that,my friend..that's why GOD created this universe..to experience ITSELF..and touch itself in infinite ways,while singing ,,I touch myself,,..as the Divinyls sing on the video below..please be aware that I WAS GIVEN THIS SUPERNATURAL INFO..that WE are here to experience,while I was into the woods,and asked the question,after giving up on the world...and I WAS the light,and my VOICE said..you are here to experience YOURSELF!
And I was laughing of the cosmic drama so hard...that the forest was me,and the world was my creation,just for the fun of knowing myself...but IF YOU refuse the power within,and think there is some GOD outside of yourself...you'll MISS the very reason for your existence ...and the separating forces within you will give you so much pain,that one day you'll realize the reason for suffering..GOD is NOT A FOOL..he took measures to awaken himself,and with no pain,nobody would look inside for the truth,but they'll look outside.

So I figured..why bother meditating,Danny..just go in the forest and abandon the body.
So as I was stepping deeper and deeper in the forest,with each step I'd abandon some deep layers of ego(while I was still in total bliss and joy).
Then I stopped still right in the middle of forest..and realized that I have abandoned even the idea of abandoning the body.
Then I asked aloud...then why I am here?
And set down in lotus,wondering about this question,looking around.,scratching my 8 months grown beard.
Then something happened...
As I abandoned even that question(why I am here?..on this earth I ment)..then poof..as I looked around..everything was light..I was a rainbow of light.I could see thru the trees too..and every one of them ,every leaf was me.
So I guess in the end it comes down to ,,letting go,, and something,the real nature will reveal itself.
When I saw that my real nature was light..and the same as the forest..I started to laugh so hard..of my previous stupidity to abandon the body.There is no one to abandon the body,see?

The meaning I got after that experience,as everything turned to normal..and the forest was there again,was that I was the light experiencing itself.
Never talked about that for years,till I read about the tibetan buddhists ,,rainbow of light,, and stuff.
Took me awhile to process the experience,really.
This stuff is real,indeed.
And about 3 weeks after that,as I was walking on the streets,I could see the people empty..just shadows of light,not aware of their essence.

*note* interesting post from William Samuel quote"William Samuel grew up in Mountain Brook, Alabama – a small village to which he returned as an adult after fighting in WWII and living in the Orient. "The Universe is my home, but I choose to walk the fields and quiet hills of Alabama."

Born in 1924, he was commissioned a Lieutenant at age 18 and fought in WWII:

I was ... a captain of infantry in two long wars. I lived with Chinese infantry troops in the field for nearly three years – subsisting with them, nearly starving with them. The few American soldiers in China had very little support from the United States during World War II. We were at the end of the world's longest supply line, and anything that reached us from home had been flown over Japanese occupied countries, over the great Himalayan Mountains into Kunming, thence to be trucked and packed in by animals to us, wherever we might be.

I didn't live very well during those years. My last year in China, as the great war came to an end, I joined Chinese troops who were actively engaged against the Japanese and fought in the battles that recaptured Ishan, Liuchow and Kwelin.

During that fighting, Bill came under the tutelage of his Chinese interpreter, a Mr. Shieh, who was a Taoist master:

Let me write a Glimpse or two from those days. First, harking back to China, Mr. Shieh and I, with five American teammates, were being pursued by a Japanese combat patrol. We were "retrograding," bringing up the rear of our little patrol, trying to get back to the safety of friendly lines. We were close to being captured. In those days, neither the Japanese nor Chinese "gave quarter." That is we took no prisoners. I knew that if I were taken by the pursuing Japanese, it meant certain death. On the other hand, Mr. Shieh might successfully pass himself off as a Chinese peasant. Oh, I cannot write this story! At this minute it is enough to remember Mr. Shieh seeing and pointing out the beauty of those purple blooms on the distant mountain we had yet to climb. I marveled at a man who could see beauty under such oppressive circumstances. I marvel more that he helped me learn to do it.

After the war, I think he lived in the Orient for several years, possibly studying under Shieh, although my information is sketchy. A few years later, he found himself back in a war zone again:

In Korea ... I commanded King Company, 279th Infantry Regiment. Things were much harder for me in Korea's combat than in the long, strange war in China. Being older didn't help me in Korea, nor did I have wise old Mr. Shieh at Korea's great Sandbag Castle or at Vulture's Roost on the 38th Parallel.

It is interesting that I've never written about those days, even though I've told of the learning events to seekers who have come to visit here in Alabama. I especially relished telling such tales to the metaphysical "absolutists" or to the young zealot idealists who arrived expecting only gentle words of peace from a Godly teacher. Since stories of strife, warfare and suffering are the last thing those people expect to hear from a "metaphysician," that's often what they got.

Show me a revelation and I'll show you a traumatic event from which that Light emerged....

It was during one of the battles in Korea when Bill Samuel had such a revelation:

During the Korean War, an artillery round burst among my men on the left flank. Several bodies were hurled about and I ran to see the extent of the damage and whether the platoon leader was still effective. Sick to my stomach at the sight, I sat down among three of the bodies sprawled along the slope. I became aware of a visual "Presence" hovering beside them. A misty, blue-white light of sorts. A different kind of light, primal, persuasive and powerful. I could not explain what I saw then, nor can I now, but with the sight, and because of the sight, I was absolutely certain within myself I was being shown evidence of the deathlessness of Life – the survival of the Child, the Soul of men. I felt a marvelous sense of relief, almost gratitude, concerning those men and everything happening that day. Within a few minutes of that incident, my regiment, and my part of the line in particular, was hit by an enormous wave of shell fire and oncoming Chinese troops. Hell erupted in a manner that no one can sufficiently describe or picture for another. One simply must experience something like that to fully understand....

Bill Samuel- That particular hellfire and damnation in Korea lasted four nights and three days, without sleep for my troops and me. I have never forgotten the different time frame and the enwrapping inner peace nor how I was held and supported during that time – or non-time.

More significant, that Peace has not forsaken me since those days, at least not when I was mindful of It nor when the chips were down and I called for It. How do I call for It? I bring forth the Child of Me....

The final tone in this Overtone: The day I moved King Company onto line in Korea, I was given the Order of Battle of the "enemy" opposing me just across the valley on the next mountain. Facing my regiment, and me in particular, was the Chinese 60th Army, the same troops I had lived with and trained for two years in China. We met again, eight years later, in a terrible and senseless slaughter.

In the apparent world, our friends and enemies are the same – and, sometimes, needlessly, insanely, we try to destroy one another, thence to find that Life is eternal. Like Arjuna, in awful combat, I was instructed in certain of the Mysteries and learned the sense of senselessness. Memorial Day 1985

And that Arjuna-like soldier (whose demeanor may have been similar to that described by the opening lines of Richard Rose's autobiographical blank verse "Three Books of the Absolute": Out of the valley of the river came a wanderer. Peace was in his eye and his soul was wrapped in Nirvana) became a gentle teacher of tranquillity and awareness.

In the second half of the 1950s Bill became a well-known healer in Christian Science circles. But by the early 1960s he was removed from their practitioner listing since his views no longer dovetailed with Christian Science teaching. And in 1964 he published Two Plus Two Equals Reality, where he challenges the reader with fundamental questions: "Who am I; who are you? Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Who or what is God? What is absolute reality?" He began that booklet with the following advice:

With honest and straightforward simplicity, I am here to tell you that you can never be free of personal trials and tribulations until you make your own discovery of Reality, God. You will never find more than the most temporal, ephemeral happiness until you make a personal discovery of God, Isness – until you get off your soft sofa and actually make your own determination of Reality, of Truth, of Fact. You will never permanently rid yourself of the grind and grate in the pit of the stomach nor find yourself free of that feeling of impending doom until you make your own, individual determination of exactly what God is to you!

... If you have tried everything else and are still periodically miserable, if you still contend with one problem after another, if you still have not yet solved the problem of fear and increasing pressure, and if you are really ready to stop suffering, it is time to do yourself a favor. Start now, this minute, to begin your own determination of what God, Reality, Truth is. One can never be happy nor self-satisfied until he does. One can never be free of trials and tribulations until he does. One can have no permanent sense of health or wealth until he does. No one will ever be free of personal fear or insecurity until he makes a determination for himself of just what God is to him.

One of his students wrote that Bill's awakening occurred in the 1960s and was triggered by seeing his reflection in the water of a pond near his home and realizing that "who and what he is was the witness of that reflection and of the image called Bill." I assume that this realization provided the conviction that spurred his writing of the above booklet. (As an aside, the details of his awakening sound greatly similar to the fictional depiction of the protagonist's awakening in Douglas Harding's Spectre in the Lake published in 1996, the year of Bill's death. His student told me that Bill was familiar with Harding's teaching, but I don't know if there was any contact between them.) "

The Child Within Us Lives! by William Samuel

What do we know about Light? Virtually nothing. About God? Still less.


Let me make a parallel illustration that suggests why Everyman knows so little and may one day learn so much. Instead of people, imagine chickens. Instead of the world, imagine a great incubator with the light turned on perpetually and with us chicks scratching around looking for (or not looking for) comfort, first, and the meaning of life, a distant second.


Let's pretend that an incubator hour is more like a decade, and that for nearly eleven thousand millions years we chickens have been speculating about the nature of Reality, wondering which version is right. During our long search, the thinking chickens among us have concluded that our well-being has something to do with light. (It might be interesting to note here that the scientist chicken and the religious chicken have apparently opposing ideas. The scientist speaks about the light he can measure; the religionist about the Light of God that can't be measured.)


Well now, how do we stand in the great incubator today? What do we chickens really know about Light/light? There is a precise parallel here. What did we know of childhood when we were children? What does a fish know of water or a bird of air? What do those who have been in the light without realizing it know about the light?


Over the chicken-millennia, thousands of religions have come and gone. Four primary philosophies remain today, one for each corner of the incubator. In the corners are great organizations with grand gurus representing different points of view such as Eastern, Western, Jewish, Catholic and, now that science has found metaphysics in its quantum mechanics, we need to add another corner to the pyramid. Each view insists its way is the best way; some say, the only way. The chicks in the south are diametrically opposed to those across the way. The Eastern view is opposite the Western view. One can imagine how these differences arose by recalling the Illustration of the Pyramid. (See The Glass Pyramid.) We remember how those along the north wall see Polaris in a different overhead quadrant than do those near the south wall, and must necessarily describe its relationship to the pyramid differently. The four corners have a common root, but that is about all. Ah, but science has the world's attention. Religious metaphysics hasn't kept up in that respect.


Organizations, using this authority or that, have encouraged us to judge the other views as less enlightened than our own. It is difficult to believe that one claiming enlightenment would call another view heathen because that view sees the North Star at a different angle, but of course, many do. The struggle between science and religion seems unending, science presently dominating.


In search of the true message, some chickens like me have gone to every corner of the incubator and to half the religions-only to become more confused. The subjective East doesn't jibe with the objective West, and neither really knows what the other is talking about, but each seems certain of what the other is not talking about. For that matter, the traveling chick learns that virtually no one who calls himself "metaphysical" knows what metaphysics is.
Most of us chickens have no concept about the light that warms us, much less about the Light standing behind that light. We know what we've been told in our own little corner of the incubator-by our parents, our leaders and their holy books, our schools and organizations. Like the chickens, most of us think primarily of our comfort, self-satisfaction and ongoing titillation-which carefully includes the way we make a living. It is said that less than ten percent of the Western world is religious, though one doesn't have to be religious to have a concern for and interest in Truth. Still fewer concern themselves with subjective thoughts such as these, so we wonder what marvel brought the holy books into being or impels anyone to write these things to so small an audience. Yet through the years there have been correct words to guide us to the Light within.


As for the disputes about what the light of the incubator is (or what the Light beyond the light is), the grand gurus learned long ago that it is infinitely better, for their own sakes, to let the chickens debate the meanings of the words in the holy books rather than delve into the nature of Light/light. Leave theology to the theologians, they say. Debate invites schism and schism is hurtful to the organization and its power. Reader, what DO metaphysics, theology and philosophy reveal about Light? Light is, after all, one of the things so close to us we don't notice it or really know what it is. The Light of Life can't be seen with mortal eyes. It can't be touched. What do people really know about the Light of Life? Like the chickens in the incubator, almost nothing. Only that It IS-and because It is, we are. One can get a powerful argument from philosophers and metaphysicians that even this much isn't certain.


Yet, there is an event that will surely bring every chicken to know about light immediately! When a great storm one day pulls the incubator's plug for a moment and everything goes dark, THEN every chicken in the place will know what light IS from experiencing what it is NOT. In the twinkling of an eye, the apparent ABSENCE of light-and the panic of that absence-will bring everyone to a full consciousness of light. Even those drinking beer, flapping the levers on pinball machines and watching their latest videos will know-from the least of them to the greatest-that light is an integral part of their well-being. And those who are meditating or pinching their noses in prayer, imploring Light to be more Light, will become acquainted with It also.


The Light of Life is just as close to us as the light in the incubator is close to the chickens. We were born into the appearance of time and space with/as It, and we have grown up with It whether we are aware of the fact or not. Light is here, unheralded and unnoticed, living us, supporting and warming us-the very spark of Being Itself. The Child of us IS that Light, here and now.


Strangely, for each of us individually and all of us collectively, life must be threatened and common disaster loom before we are willing to be earnest. The religions of the world have so cut and dried the believer's approach to theology, cosmology, cosmogony, debate and discussion (from fear of schism and disloyalty), that one doesn't learn until the end of his personal affairs that the grand gurus in the corners are no longer spokesmen for anything resembling the Original Message; that these servants of the "living Word" have-in the name of the printed word-dismissed the Living Child within themselves. The Biblical Apocalypse says these churches will have served their purposes in the final days of time. Perhaps so. When we see the bickering and warfare that passes for religion, metaphysics and "love"-Christians torching other Christians in the name of Christ-one only wonders when the destruction will be over.


There are unnoticed Lights in the world-religious and otherwise -individuals working diligently, able in marvelous ways to walk the precarious pathways bcyond religion and metaphysics-no longer beguiled by the organized bewilderers. There are those who have climbed the barbed walls of orthodoxy and found the Child of themselves again. Those who have found the Child are able to tell us how to find the same Child within ourselves. They tell of the Self within, how to find Its Equation for living, how to receive It and how to give It. We seek these people out and listen to them.


The light in the world incubator has begun to flicker and flutter. I am reminded of the Carpenter who said the day would come when there are two are in the field, one taken up and one left behind. Two on a bed, one lives and one dies. Five in a household-three against two and two against three. Perhaps I have been shown some of these things because I know such days will come in the world's "time" if only when the individual faces his own transition. There will be those who are frightened and those who are not; those who will know what to do and those who won't. The unafraid will have found the BALANCE between inside and outside, above and below, first and last, male and female, objective and subjective.


These people may or may not be familiar with the words of the historic Christ Child, but they will know those words are true and faithful, having found the Child themselves.


The Child takes us to the Balance quickly. The Child tells of the Equation wherein life prospers with security, grace and decency. The Child takes us to the non-spatial place of Identity where we EXCHANGE the things Above and give them below, not theorize and talk about them endlessly; where we pass the reports from outside and give them inside. Those who stand on that High Ground will be (are) the final harvest and final seed of the Tree of Life.


"What about the rest of us, Willi Boy?

A good question. Who are "the rest of us"? What happens to our friends in a dream when we awaken? They were never more than the dream itself, the powerless straw dogs about whom LaoTse speaks. They are, until they find the subjective idea, the dead burying the dead, that Jesus spoke of. It is up to us to get THIS one I AM and its subjective world straight within ourselves. This one that reads these words gets his world straight. Then, "all mankind will be drawn unto me."


It is said that "Whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven. What is freed on earth is freed in heaven." Could it be we take our subjective world with us, forgiven or unforgiven, freed or still bound? "You can't take it with you" has been the world's belief for so long. I often take my day's adventures into the dream at night. I often awaken to more clearly understand the things I've been dreaming about. Who is to say we can't leave the image of the Image to return to the Image? The essence of the Nag Hammadi Library says exactly that; subjectively understood, the Holy Books of the world say that-and now, agnostic science is looking at infinite possibilities and infinite dimensions, finding universes within universes, not unlike the New Jerusalem John foresaw.


My unseen reader friend, we have things to get straight, to understand and to DO in the days ahead. Let's get on with it while we can.

*note* just watched again last night this movie "Stand by me" ..is a story about boys finding their power within...I recall my youth when I watch it,indeed.
What makes this movie more dramatic,besides the original drama is the fact that the main actor died after couple years(River Phoenix)..and what bothers me is this..if in the film he could act,and he was the main marvelous character ...then why he had succumbed in real life at only 23 years old,and died?
This is a mystery indeed.
Again,I quote "Stand by Me is a 1986 American coming of age adventure-drama film directed by Rob Reiner. Based on the novella The Body by Stephen King, the film takes its title from the song of the same name by Ben E. King (which plays during the closing credits)."
But I'll post the beautiful songs from this movie.

Stand By Me
Directed by Rob Reiner


We are all haunted by childhood's end, by the important things we must leave behind on our long and arduous journey into adulthood: the intensity of our loves, fears, and hurts; the talismanic rituals and games; the laughter and bravado; and the deep bonds of friendship.
All these things and more are presented in Stand By Me, one of the sweetest and most affecting films ever made about the darkness at the edge of town that must be faced before four young boys can move on to the new challenges that junior high school will bring them. This film, adapted by Raynold Gideon and Bruce A. Evans from Stephen King's novella, "The Body," is beautifully written and performed. The DVD release includes an audio commentary by director Rob Reiner, the promotional trailer and a background featurette, and the music video of the classic title song.
The story is narrated by the adult Gordie Lachance (Richard Dreyfuss), a successful writer who recalls the summer of 1959 when he was twelve years old in the small Oregon town of Castle Rock. Gordie (Wil Wheaton) and his friends Chris Chambers (River Phoenix), Teddy Duchamp (Corey Feldman), and Vern Tessio (Jerry O'Connell) have their own little tree house where they play cards, smoke cigarettes, and crack jokes. It is the end of the summer and they need a really great adventure. When Vern tells them that he heard his brother talking about seeing the dead body of a boy who's been missing for a few days down by the railroad tracks, they decide to locate the corpse and become heroes in the eyes of the townsfolk.
Gordie is still mourning the death of his older brother and resents the way his parents have treated him as an "invisible boy" since the tragedy. Chris, who's been abused by his alcoholic father, has been pegged as a bad kid by everyone. Teddy's father is in a mental institution, and Vern gets no respect because of his squeamishness. For each of them, this two-day trek is a test of courage, physical stamina, and camaraderie. Can they rise above their fears and insecurities? Will they be able to find something special inside themselves and with each other that can transcend the low regard their families and others have of them?


Their journey takes them down the railroad tracks to a junkyard where they encounter an angry man. While crossing a railroad bridge over a river, they must literally run for their lives when a train appears around the bend. Over a campfire in the woods, Gordie tells a story he's created about a fat boy who takes out his revenge on a town at an annual pie-eating contest. Later in the evening, he breaks down and reveals to Chris how hurt he is by his father's lack of love for him. His friend affirms Gordie's storytelling talent and counsels him to be patient with his dad who doesn't really know him.
When they finally locate the corpse of the missing boy, a group of Castle Rock thugs led by Ace (Kiefer Sutherland) show up to challenge them; they want to take credit for finding the body. Gordie stands by Chris in a show of strength. The two boys — in the presence of fear and a threat to their own lives — come of age together.

Stand By Me, thanks to Rob Reiner's flawless direction, captures and conveys the warmth, intimacy, and sensitivity of such a relationship. The film is both an ode to youthful friendship and a lament for the loss of that precious bond between grown men.

We often confuse unity with uniformity. In reality it is the spirit of unity which creates uniformity for the sake of its beauty and protection it gives. Throughout all ages both have existed: unity as the inner nature of every soul and the only purpose of life, and uniformity to help to fulfill that purpose. Unity is the goal and uniformity the means to reach that goal, but often the means has obscured the purpose. All through the ages the different religions, which have been given to man for his spiritual development with the sole idea of unity, have gradually become a kind of community or nationality. Many people who belong to a Church accept its dogmas, claim a certain name for their religion, and consider all other children of God as separate; by doing so they lose the very seed of wisdom for whose development that religion was given. This error has existed from the beginning, so that instead of touching the true spirit, people have lost reality by seeking a false objective.


Religious differences have caused endless wars and disasters for the human race. The reason of this is that the spirit of unity has not been recognized, while undue regard has been paid to uniformity. In the present age, when the spirit of religion is at its lowest ebb and only the uniformity remains, divisions of classes and discords of all kinds spring up; one party, one class against another, the spirit of rivalry, jealousy, and destruction everywhere. The effect of this has been to keep man away from the consciousness of God. Very few indeed recognize Him; all humanity is laboring under a great unrest; and yet man thinks he is progressing while all the time he only progresses towards still greater unrest.


There can never be true progress when nations and kingdoms and peoples are divided; for when the races are divided then subdivisions come, and classes and parties also become divided. The same spirit of destruction is at work all the time, and even families become separated. Unity seems to be rooted out from the hearts of men. Examples are not necessary; those who will notice it can see this state of humanity, this condition of life, all over the world.
When we seek a reason for this we find a right principle wrongly worked out. Uniformity is not a fault, indeed it is a great virtue. There is nothing wrong, for instance, in a uniform desire to help, to give service in time of need; but when the God-ideal is removed then it remains as a body without a soul, a corpse, and in the end it decays and causes foulness. However alive and prosperous the world may seem, life belongs only to the living and when the living being is forgotten it is like a light under a bushel. Man becomes so absorbed in the pursuit of money that he becomes intoxicated and regardless of the harmony and happiness of others, and even of the harmony of his own being; and then he causes destruction. We have only to think of the wars humanity has gone through, and of this latest horror, to see the truth. It all proves that progress is in the wrong direction, and that everywhere unity is lacking. The scripture given to the Jews, the Muslims, Parsis, Hindus, Buddhists, all have as their central truth the message of unity, but man has been so interested and absorbed in the poetry of these scriptures that he has forgotten their inner voice.


If only we could recognize the inner voice, we would see that the different scriptures all contain words spoken by one and the same voice. Some hear the voice, others only hear the words, just as in nature some see only the branches and others the roots of the tree; but all these different scriptures and ways of worship and of contemplating God are given for one purpose: the realization of unity. In unity resides the happiness and illumination of man, and his guidance in life. We all know unity by name, but most of us think of it as uniformity. The Vedanta for thousands of years in all its prayers and mantrams voiced this central theme: unity, the oneness of all. The Quran with all its warnings expresses in one essential sura the Being of God: that not only in the unseen, but in all that is seen there is one underlying current; and the Bible says that we live and move and have our being in God.


Of all the millions of believers in God perhaps only one makes God a reality, and that is because the picture man makes of God is as limited as himself. The knowledge of God is beyond man's reason. Man only perceives things he is capable of perceiving. He cannot raise his imagination above what he is used to, and he cannot reach beyond his imagination to where the being of God is. The secret of God is hidden in the knowledge of unity. Man thinks, 'What can unity give me? Can it bring me happiness? What is there in it?' He can get the answer by observing and studying life more closely. See what an atmosphere the harmony of ten people can create; the power of love and the influence created by ten people is much greater than that created by one. Think then what would be the blessing for humanity if nations, races, and communities were united!


No doubt uniformity can teach the lesson of unity, but its purpose must not be for worldly gain; then it is destructive. The wise in all ages have dived deep into life in order to attain unity in themselves, and in order to spread unity. In the life of the world every man has some complaint to make. He lacks something; he is troubled by something. But this is only the external reason; the real truth is that he is not in unity with his own soul, for when there is disharmony in ourselves how can we spread harmony? When mind and body are at war the soul wants something else, and soul and mind are pulled by the body, or the body and mind by the soul; and so there is disharmony. When a man is in harmony with himself, he is in harmony with all; he produces harmony and gives harmony to all, he gives it out all the time.


This is a question that can be answered by understanding our relationship with God. The innermost being of man is the real being of God; man is always linked with God. If he could only realize it, it is by finding harmony in his own soul that he finds communion with God. All meditation and contemplation are taught with this purpose: to harmonize one's innermost being with God, so that He is seeing, hearing, thinking through us, and our being is a ray of His light. In that way we are even closer to God than the fishes are to the ocean in which they have their being. It is mostly interest in worldly things that unites one man with another in order that they can make profit. How great would be this power if man would unite in true brotherhood! As long as this teaching is hidden under a bushel the methods of uniformity cannot be beneficial; they have no life. The world, in spite of any success it may seem to have today, is suffering from the wrong application of a right principle.


True life cannot be ours until unity is achieved. It is the work of religion to promote the spirit of unity, in the knowledge and love of God to whom all devotion belongs. Man often seeks for psychic, occult, and magnetic powers. This is not the purpose of religion; these developments come of themselves. Where there is life and love, there is magnetism; love itself is the healing power and the remedy for all pain. All occult powers belong to the divine life, but man should live a natural life and realize the nature of God. The only studies which are worth accomplishing are those which lead to the realization of God, and of unity first with God and then with the self, and so with all. It is not necessary for us to be told that we have progressed; we ourselves will know when our hearts go forward; and by loving, forgiving, and serving, our whole life becomes one single vision of the sublime beauty of God.

I rarely post about these new age non-sense,but this guy was the best...I can say he is the grandfather of new-age western magik..

The fruit of this knowledge is, as it were, a gift of the Gods; it is the "truth" that makes men free, not only free from every lack and limitation, but free from sorrow, worry and care, and, is it not wonderful to realize that this law is no respecter of persons, that it makes no difference what your habit of thought may be, the way has been prepared.


If you are inclined to be religious, the greatest religious teacher the world has ever known made the way so plain that all may follow. If your mental bias is toward physical science, the law will operate with mathematical certainty. If you are inclined to be philosophical, Plato or Emerson may be your teacher, but in either case, you may reach degrees of power to which it is impossible to assign any limit.


An understanding of this principle, I believe, is the secret for which the ancient Alchemists vainly sought, because it explains how gold in the mind may be transmuted into gold in the heart and in the hand.


PART TWENTY-FOUR


1. When the scientists first put the Sun in the center of the Solar System and sent the earth spinning around it, there was immense surprise and consternation. The whole idea was self-evidently false; nothing was more certain than the movement of the Sun across the sky, and anyone could see it descend behind the western hills and sink into the sea; scholars raged and scientists rejected the idea as absurd, yet the evidence has finally carried conviction in the minds of all.


2. We speak of a bell as a "sounding body," yet we know that all the bell can do is to produce vibrations in the air. When these vibrations come at the rate of sixteen per second, they cause a sound to be heard in the mind. It is also possible for the mind to hear vibrations up to the rate of 38,000 vibrations per second. When the number increases beyond this, all is silence again; so that we know that the sound is not in the bell, it is in our own mind.


3. We speak and even think of the Sun as "giving light." Yet we know it is simply giving forth energy which produces vibrations in the ether at the rate of four hundred trillion a second, causing what are termed light waves, so that we know that we call light is simply a form of energy and that the only light there is, is the sensation caused in the mind by the motion of the waves. When the number increases, the light changes in color, each change in color being caused by shorter and more rapid vibrations; so that although we speak of the rose as being red, the grass as being green, or the sky as being blue, we know that the colors exist only in our minds, and are the sensations experienced by us as the result of the vibrations of light waves. When the vibrations are reduced below four hundred trillion a second, they no longer affect us as light, but we experience the sensation of heat. It is evident, therefore, that we cannot depend upon the evidence of the senses for our information concerning the realities of things; if we did we should believe that the sun moved, that the world was flat instead of round, that the stars were bits of light instead of vast suns.


4. The whole range then of the theory and practice of any system of metaphysics consists in knowing the Truth concerning yourself and the world in which you live; in knowing that in order to express harmony, you must think harmony; in order to express health you must think health; and in order to express abundance you must think abundance; to do this you must reverse the evidence of the senses.


5. When you come to know that every form of disease, sickness, lack and limitation are simply the result of wrong thinking, you will have come to know "the Truth which shall make you free." You will see how mountains may be removed. If these mountains consist only of doubt, fear, distrust or other forms of discouragement, they are none the less real, and they need not only to be removed but to be "cast into the sea."


6. Your real work consists in convincing yourself of the truth of these statements. When you have succeeded in doing this you will have no difficulty in thinking the truth, and as has been shown, the truth contains a vital principle and will manifest itself.


7. Those who heal diseases by mental methods have come to know this truth, they demonstrate it in their lives and the lives of others daily. They know that life, health and abundance are Omnipresent, filling all space, and they know that those who allow disease or lack of any kind to manifest, have as yet not come into an understanding of this great law.


8. As all conditions are thought creations and therefore entirely mental, disease and lack are simply mental conditions in which the person fails to perceive the truth; as soon as the error is removed, the condition is removed.


9. The method for removing this error is to go into the Silence and know the Truth; as all mind is one mind, you can do this for yourself or anyone else. If you have learned to form mental images of the conditions desired, this will be the easiest and quickest way to secure results; if not, results can be accomplished by argument, by the process of convincing yourself absolutely of the truth of your statement.


10. Remember, and this is one of the most difficult as well as most wonderful statements to grasp.... remember that no matter what the difficulty is, no matter where it is, no matter who is affected, you have no patient but yourself; you have nothing to do but to convince yourself of the truth which you desire to see manifested.




11. This is an exact scientific statement in accordance with every system of Metaphysics in existence, and no permanent results are ever secured in any other way.


12. Every form of concentration, forming Mental Images, Argument, and Autosuggestion are all simply methods by which you are enabled to realize the Truth.
13. If you desire to help someone, to destroy some form of lack, limitation or error, the correct method is not to think of the person whom you wish to help; the intention to help them is entirely sufficient, as this puts you in mental touch with the person. Then drive out of your own mind any belief of lack, limitation, disease, danger, difficulty or whatever the trouble might be. As soon as you have succeeded is doing this the result will have been accomplished, and the person will be free.




14. But remember that thought is creative and consequently every time you allow your thought to rest on any inharmonious condition, you must realize that such conditions are apparent only, they have no reality, that spirit is the only reality and it can never be less than perfect.


15. All thought is a form of energy, a rate of vibration, but a thought of the Truth is the highest rate of vibration known and consequently destroys every form of error in exactly the same way that light destroys darkness; no form of error can exist when the "Truth" appears, so that your entire mental work consists in coming into an understanding of the Truth. This will enable you to overcome every form of lack, limitation or disease of any kind.


16. We can get no understanding of the truth from the world without; the world without is relative only; Truth is absolute. We must therefore find it in the "world within.
17. To train the mind to see Truth only is to express true conditions only, our ability to do this will be an indication as to the progress we are making.


18. The absolute truth is that the "I" is perfect and complete; the real "I" is spiritual and can therefore never be less than perfect; it can never have any lack, limitation, or disease. The flash of genius does not have origin in the molecular motion of the brain; it is inspired by the ego, the spiritual "I" which is one with the Universal Mind, and it is our ability to recognize this Unity which is the cause of all inspiration, all genius. These results are far reaching and have effect upon generations yet to come; they are the pillars of fire which mark the path that millions follow.


19. Truth is not the result of logical training or of experimentation, or even of observation; it is the product of a developed consciousness. Truth within a Caesar, manifests in a Caesar's deportment, in his life and his action; his influence upon social forms and progress. Your life and your actions and your influence in the world will depend upon the degree of truth which you are enabled to perceive, for truth will not manifest in creeds, but in conduct.




20. Truth manifests in character, and the character of a man, should be the interpretation of his religion, or what to him is truth, and this will in turn be evidenced in the character of his possession. If a man complains of the drift of his fortune he is just as unjust to himself as if he should deny rational truth, though it stand patent and irrefutable.


21. Our environment and the innumerable circumstances and accidents of our lives already exist in the subconscious personality which attracts to itself the mental and physical material which is congenial to its nature. Thus our future being determined from our present, and if there should be apparent injustice in any feature or phase of our personal life, we must look within for the cause, try to discover the mental fact which is responsible for the outward manifestation.


22. It is this truth which makes you "free" and it is the conscious knowledge of this truth which will enable you to overcome every difficulty.




23. The conditions with which you meet in the world without are invariably the result of the conditions obtaining in the world within, therefore it follows with scientific accuracy that by holding the perfect ideal in mind you can bring about ideal conditions in your environment.


24. If you see only the incomplete, the imperfect, the relative, the limited, these conditions will manifest in your life; but if you train your mind to see and realize the spiritual ego, the "I" which is forever perfect and complete, harmonious; wholesome, and healthful conditions only will be manifested.


25. As thought is creative, and the truth is the highest and most perfect thought which anyone can think, it is self-evident that to think the truth is to create that which is true and it is again evident that when truth comes into being that which is false must cease to be.


26. The Universal Mind is the totality of all mind which is in existence. Spirit is Mind, because spirit is intelligent. The words are, therefore, synonymous.


27. The difficulty with which you have to contend is to realize that mind is not individual. It is omnipresent. It exists everywhere. In other words, there is no place where it is not. It is, therefore, Universal.


28. Men have, heretofore, generally used the word "God" to indicate this Universal, creative principle; but the word "God" does not convey the right meaning. Most people understand this word to mean something outside of themselves; while exactly the contrary is the fact. It is our very life. Without it we would be dead. We would cease to exist. The minute the spirit leaves the body, we are as nothing. Therefore, spirit is really, all there is of us.




29. Now, the only activity which the spirit possesses is the power to think. Therefore, thought must be creative, because spirit is creative. This creative power is impersonal and your ability to think is your ability to control it and make use of it for the benefit of yourself and others.


30. When the truth of this statement is realized, understood, and appreciated, you will have come into possession of the Master-Key, but remember that only those who are wise enough to understand, broad enough to weigh the evidence, firm enough to follow their own judgment, and strong enough to make the sacrifice exacted, may enter and partake.


31. This week, try to realize that this is truly a wonderful world in which we live, that you are a wonderful being that many are awakening to a knowledge of the Truth, and as fast as they awake and come into a knowledge of the "things which have been prepared for them" they, too, realize that "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man," the splendors which exist for those who find themselves in the Promised Land. They have crossed the river of judgment and have arrived at the point of discrimination between the true and the false, and have found that all they ever willed or dreamed, was but a faint concept of the dazzling reality.

The New Heart Sutra - The Perfection of Wisdom(from Sukhayana)
Sariputra was in Dhyana and saw that everything was marked with emptiness. He thought to himself, “Form is the same as emptiness. Emptiness is the same as form. When I see, that seeing is in a field of emptiness, and that emptiness is the same as seeing, and all my perceptions are just emptiness, even my thoughts are just emptiness, and that emptiness is the same as my thoughts. There is no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind consciousness. They are all just emptiness, and emptiness is the same as those consciousnesses. How profound. I have arrived at the ultimate understanding, which Siddartha, the Buddha has spoken of. Thus I am liberated from all hindrances, an Arahant.”


Avalokiteshvara, the great Bodhisattva, upon witnessing this event, was moved by great compassion for Sariputra, and penetrated his dreamworld with form to speak to him thusly:


“Sariputra, my son in search of wisdom, you have done well to see this vision, but what is this vision? It is just the vision of your consciousness. You are seeing the space and depth generated by your mind in which all things conscious appear, and you are mistakenly calling this "emptiness". Do you understand?”


When you see, your mind creates a field of depth perception, a field of space and distance, in which what you see exists. This space and distance created by your mind is not “emptiness” and is not liberation as you are thinking and hoping. When you have a thought, you see the space and depth of that thought, but the mind created that space, which is the content of that thought. Therefore, you think that this thought is identical to “emptiness”, and “emptiness” to be identical to thought, but your “emptiness” is just a mind generated depth, spatiality, and distance. The experience of the depth and spatiality within your consciousness is not “emptiness” and not liberation, Sariputra. You are seeing the reality of your mind, and you confusing the empty space and depth created by your mind with true emptiness. Think carefully, my son. If you see a field of emptiness within which images or thoughts appear, who is seeing this? In what context does this experience reside? Do you know? You are seeing the truth of your mind, but you are not free from the experience of the mind. Do you understand?


Sariputra, you should know that this experience is just the third Dhyana, and is just the awareness of the the three dimensional dreamworld created by your mind. See for yourself, Sariputra, what are the limits of this field of “emptiness” created by your mind? How far can your “emptiness” extend? When you extend the field of your “emptiness”, it is contained in a small space. How can this be Emptiness? It is contained in the container of the space and depth created by your mind. You are seeing the truth of the mind, which is the source of suffering, but you are not beyond that dreamworld of suffering. Do you understand?


Sariputra, the truth of the perfection of wisdom is not seeing the space and depth of the dreamworld, and glorifying yourself with false attainments of Arhatship and making false statements such as “Form is Emptiness, and Emptiness is Form”, therefore I am Enlightened. You have deceived your self and have deceived others with this nonsense, and people have been hurt and mislead. This is just compassion for the world, my friend, and we must move forward, beyond this foolishness, if you are to be of help to this suffering world. Do you understand?


Sariputra responded, “I am shocked and humbled by your words, but I do not fully understand what more there can be. This is all I have found after so many years. I am truly sorry now that I have spoken as if I were a great teacher with great understanding. Help me understand what you are saying. Help me see what more there is?”
“Sariputra, when you use your eyes to see, what is happening?”


“There is an empty space created in front of me. It begins inside of me and extends out to the object. The space makes contact with the object, then the empty space quickly fills in with me moving to the the object, and the object moving towards me. We unite in that empty space, then I have the knowledge that I am seeing. When I have this knowledge, the object and I are united together in this space. I see the space, I know it is an empty space, and I have knowledge of seeing within this space, so I know that I and the world are One, and all dharmas are emptiness, seeing is also emptiness, and emptiness is the same thing as seeing. They are all one thing.”
“And where is this seeing, my son?”


“Seeing is in front of me. It is a space in front of me.”“And where is the ME feeling?”


“Let me look at that for a second...I am sometimes at my heart and sometimes at my head. This is strange. The ME feeling in my head is different. The ME at the heart is in the space of seeing, but the ME at my head is different. There is no space there, and it is just many, many quick flashes of ME feeling. I have never seen this before.”


“Yes, my son. You have two ME feelings. The one ME feeling, which is inside the space of seeing, is it a permanent, constant ME feeling or does it come and go quickly?”




“Uh-oh! I have never seen this before. I had always assumed it was permanent, but as I experience it now, it is not constant. The ME at the heart, the space of seeing, the dharma world quickly comes and goes, it is like a drumbeat, and it is not permanent. I had assumed it was all permanent, because it kept reoccurring.”


“My son, with this insight, do you think this Me at the heart, this space of seeing, and this dharma world are Nirvana, the ultimate experience of an Arhat, Liberation.”




“Now that you have lead me to this insight, I am ashamed at all my assumptions. This drumbeat of “form is emptiness, and emptiness is form”, which I am witnessing, can not be liberation. It is as if I have done nothing, and assumed everything. What a fool I have been. I want to laugh, but I only feel like I could cry.”


“My son, your efforts have not been wasted. You have gone far. Many people also have done nothing, and assume everything. They have a small insight or experience, and immediately assume they have done everything. They are so hungry for enlightenment, they grasp at any experience as proof of their attainment. In reality they are just beginning. You at least now know you are just beginning, and have assumed everything, so let's continue. My son, seeing the drumbeat of this dharma world, what do you think it is?




“My Lord, I don't know. I try to know, and my 'trying to know' is just part of drumbeat of the dharma world. This is like a maze from which there is no escape. There is no way to know what this is, because knowing is inside the maze. I have heard of puzzles like this, and I have always said there is no way out, there is no solution, it is not possible to solve such a puzzle.”


“Yes, this is exactly right. If you don't know you are in prison, how can you escape? If you know you are in a prison, and see there is no escape, what do you do? You now know you are in a prison, so you want to escape, but you see there is no escape. What do you do?”


“This is the same puzzle I am in, and there is no way out! Maybe I don't completely understand the prison clearly, because there must be a way out. You are not inside a prison.”




“Yes, correct. I am not in the prison, and you don't fully understand the prison. Let me ask you a question and consider it carefully. You saw the ME at the heart, and you saw the ME's in your head. Were those ME's inside the prison?”


“Yes, they were inside the prison.”


“Is it possible for those Me's to find liberation, to escape the prison? Consider this carefully, my son.”


“OK. I will take it slowly. Firstly, when I hear you say “Me's finding liberation”, it sounds crazy, but let me consider this in meditation. I see the space of seeing, then the space of the dharma world, and it seems like the feeling of Me at the heart is united with the dharma world and it can't be separated. They are the same thing. The Me's flashing around my head are a hundred Me's causing confusion. Each lasts only a fraction of a second and are like a hundred flickering stars in the night sky each saying Me, me, me. So this is a puzzle. The hundred flashing Me's are meaningless, and the Me at my heart is the same as the dharma realm, so I am confused. Neither the flickering Me at my heart, or the hundred Me's around my head have any meaning. They are like flickering stars. Just thinking logically about what you have shown me gives me the understanding of the maze, the prison, from which there is no escape. It is like seeing a painting of a man on a wall in a cave, and asking me if that man can leave that painting on the wall, and go outside the cave and find freedom. I would say that is impossible. I see it logically that it is impossible. I see all these Me's as a dream, and one part of the dream is not going to leave the dream. If I dream of myself being a wealthy king, when I wake up I must leave my kingdom of dreams, and be who I am, and I lose the crown on my head.”
“Very good, Sariputra. You have described this well. The dream Me's are like the flickering stars in the night sky. They are part of that sky and will not be able to leave that sky. The painting of the man on the wall of the cave is not going to walk out of the cave and become free of the cave. Let me ask you Sariputra, and consider this carefully. What is the painting of a man on a wall going to do? What are the flickering stars to do?”


I have no answer. This is the same question, but more difficult, more exact. I have no answer. Nothing can be done.”


“What do you mean by “nothing can be done”?
“The painting on the wall can do nothing.”


“Then why do you continue to do something!”


“What! I am doing nothing with it!”


“You are seeing it. You are listening to it. You are believing it. You are loving the Me, Me, Me dreamworld. You are making it the basis of your existence. This is what you are doing.”


I see no other way. It keeps on going no matter what I do. Help me!”


“It goes on without you? Then why do you need to participate in it? You see emptiness of dharmas, and you see the Me, Me, Me at the heart. It is like a flickering star. It is like the painting of a man on the wall of a cave. Why are you still participating? Do you really think the painting is going to leave the cave?”


“When I hear you say these words, tears come to my eyes. This is truth. I am still participating, waiting for the painting to leave the cave, and it can't. Even the one who is waiting is the ME at the heart. The painting is waiting for the painting to leave the cave. This is absurd. How do I stop participating, when everything I can know is the prison?”


“Consider this question carefully. You become aware of the heart ME. You become aware of the head ME's. You become aware of the “emptiness is all dharmas. Look closely at what allows visibility of each of these things, and tell me what it is? What creates visibility?”


“OK. let me examine carefully. There is a movement that goes to those locations, pauses and visibility happens. When I want to see the heart ME, there is a movement to that location, a pausing, and visibility of the heart ME occurs. When I was to examine the emptiness of eye consciousness, I can feel a movement to the eye consciousness, a pause, and the emptiness of eye consciousness becomes visible.”


“Is this movement, and pausing, waiting for knowledge, your participation?”


“Yes, I see that incredible truth! I unknowingly create this prison for myself. I can see myself doing it over and over again. Moving to a known location in the dharma realm, pausing and waiting for the prison to become visible. This is astounding!”


“Watch closely. Answer carefully. Is that, which moves and pauses, inside of the prison? When it moves and pauses, is it in any way obstructed by the prison? Is it obstructed by dharmas?”


“No. It is not in the prison at all.”

The Diamond Sūtra, like many Buddhist sūtras, begins with the famous phrase "Thus have I heard" (Skt. evaṃ mayā śrutam). In the sūtra, the Buddha has finished his daily walk with the monks to gather offerings of food, and he sits down to rest. Elder Subhūti comes forth and asks the Buddha a question. What follows is a dialogue regarding the nature of perception. The Buddha often uses paradoxical phrases such as, "What is called the highest teaching is not the highest teaching".[6] The Buddha is generally thought to be trying to help Subhūti unlearn his preconceived, limited notions of the nature of reality and enlightenment.


A list of vivid metaphors for impermanence appears in a popular four-line verse at the end of the sūtra:[7]


All conditioned phenomena
Are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, or shadows;
Like drops of dew, or flashes of lightning;
Thus should they be contemplated!!!

Anyway...kisses:)...and unless you don't have the help of advanced beings,forget about your spiritual practice..these TRUTHS have being spoken over and over,yet people believe they can re-invent the wheel.
Therefore..they forget that a dog can't have realization,even though he has the Buddha nature...

Then Buddha asked Subhuti, "What do you think, Subhuti, has the Buddha arrived at the highest, most fulfilled, most awakened and enlightened mind? Does the Buddha teach any teaching?"
Subhuti replied, "As far as I have understood the lord Buddha's teachings, there is no independently existing object of mind called the highest, most fulfilled, awakened or enlightened mind. Nor is there any independently existing teaching that the Buddha teaches. Why? Because the teachings that the Buddha has realized and spoken of cannot be conceived of as separate, independent things and therefore cannot be described. The truth in them is uncontainable and inexpressible. It neither is, nor is it not. What does this mean? What this means is that Buddhas and disciples are not enlightened by a set method of teachings, but by an internally intuitive process which is spontaneous and is part of their own inner nature."
