Never look upon anyone as a sinner(JOEL GOLDSMITH 1892-1964)

Lead me from dreaming to waking.
Lead me from opacity to clarity. Lead me from the complicated to the simple. Lead me from the obscure to the obvious. Lead me from intention to attention. Lead me from what I'm told I am to what I see I am. Lead me from confrontation to wide openness. Lead me to the place I never left, Where there is peace, and peace -from the Upanishads- Unless you know the emptiness and bliss inside yourself..you'll be a robot forced by the same emptiness and bliss trying to know itself..by pain.. ...inside your self also..trust me!..said the mahayogi! so listen to the mahayogi..,grasshopper from heaven...
.
In silence there must be movement, and in motion,
There must be silence.
A small movement is better than a big one..
No movement is better than a small one..listen!
Silence is all the movement's mother..
In Movement you should be like a dragon or a tiger.
In non Movement you should be like a Buddha.

The student asked: “A sage's response to changing conditions

He should worry only about his mind's not being

clear, and not about the inability to respond to all changing conditions.”

*note* gotta love this guy ..Joel Goldsmith  quote""The world is not in need of a new religion, nor is the world in need of a new philosophy: What the world needs is healing and regeneration. The world needs people who, through devotion to God, are so filled with the Spirit that they can be instruments through which healings take place, because healing is important to everybody." -- JOEL S. GOLDSMITH "

so couple more points about his life..from
http://joelgoldsmith.wwwhubs.com/
anyway..let me explain a bit the principle..
Is like this..as John C.Lilly explains...

"The center of the cyclone is that rising quiet central low-pressure place in which one can learn to live eternally. Just outside of this Center is the rotating storm of one's own ego, competing with other egos in a furious high-velocity circular dance. As one leaves center, the roar of rotating wind deafens on more and more as one joins this dance. One's centered thinking-feeling-being, one's own Satoris, are in the center only, not outside. One's pushed-pulled driven states, one's anti-Satori modes of functioning, one's self-created hells, are outside the center. In the center of the cyclone one is off the wheel of Karma, of life, rising to join the Creators of the Universe, the Creators of us."

"Here we find that we have created Them who are Us...
In the province of the mind, what is believed to be true is true or becomes true, within certain limits to be found experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the(true mind..added by danny) mind, there are no limits." -- John C. Lilly -
The spirit is one,see?..is the same in all people, even in your fruitcakes grasshoppers from heaven overgrown eyeballs.(that's why you need glasses to read this text)
It has a mind factor, and an energy one..
But this KNOWING of Joel was not ordinary ..like hey..we are all one..children of the mighty.
It is the other way ......WAY different...is even organic, you might say.
Is the total transformation of ATTENTION factors involved in the mighty 12 inch wisdom brain muscle.
See?
 Goood..if you see..then I see you too..kiss to you,grasshoppers from heaven:)

The mahayogi loves you,and remember whatever you hate outside consciously ..you hate inside, but you don't know it...so whatever is projected inside yourself, you'll see in your real life...also whatever you love outside consciously..you love inside, but you don't know it...This is how this projection factor of creation itself works.. ok ?..so make your life a meditation  ground ,please..but unless you discover the beauty of your inner being in solitary meditation...and ALSO have transmission of POWER of juicy bliss of your spirit within from advanced beings(like me,or others..I am not fussy..pick others if you don't like me..but as I remember I am the most powerful around, plus I am still alive..which is good for my ass,indeed..but soon I'll be dead and all you'll have left is this sorry blog of mine..)..I wish you luck in developing the understanding of these factors of creation... So don't be a hater,be a lover like me...the mighty one..loved in the 3 worlds, worshiped in 10..celebrated in the 19th one also by myself...

Although Joel was a master salesman and very successful for a number of years, a time came when his business became less and less, diminishing to the point of no return, even with all the spiritual help that he sought. Still at this time he had no thought of anything other than a business career. It was during that period that he contracted a very bad cold. What happened he tells in his own words:
"I was taken sick in the city of Detroit, went to a building that was filled with Christian Science practitioners, found the name of a practitioner on the board, went up to this man's office, and asked him to help me. He told me that it was Saturday and that he didn't take patients on Saturday. That day he always spent in meditation and prayer.
"To this I said, 'Of course you wouldn't turn me out looking the way I do,' and I really was looking bad.
'No, come on in.'
"And I went in, and he permitted me to stay there two hours with him. He talked to me of the Bible; he talked to me of Truth. Long before the two hours were up, I was healed of that cold, and when I went out on the street I found I couldn't smoke any more. When eating my dinner I found I couldn't drink any more. The following week I found I couldn't play cards any more, and I also found that I couldn't go to the horse races any more. And the businessman had died.
"Within thirty-six hours after my first spiritual experience, a woman buyer who was a customer of mine said that if I would pray for her she would be healed. The only prayer I knew at that moment was 'Now I lay me down to sleep,' and I didn't see that that was going to do much healing.
"But she insisted that if I would pray for her she would be healed and there was nothing for me to do but pray. So I closed my eyes, and I am happy to say that I have always been honest with God. I said, 'Father, You know that I don't know how to pray, and I certainly know nothing about healing. So if there is anything I should do, tell me.'
"And very, very clearly, as much so as if I were hearing a voice, I realized that man is not a healer. That satisfied me. That was the extent of my praying, but the woman had her healing, a healing of alcoholism.
"The next day a traveling salesman came in and said, 'Joel, I don't know what your religion is, but I do know that if you pray for me, I could get well.'
"What are you going to do about that? Argue? No. 'Let's close our eyes and pray.' And so I closed my eyes and said, 'Father, here's another customer!' But while my eyes were closed and nothing was happening, the salesman touched me and said, 'Wonderful, the pain is gone.'
"That was a daily experience. The only problem was that I had too few customers and too many patients. A transformation had taken place. Where had it taken place? It had taken place in my consciousness, not anywhere else, not outside. It was the same individual whose whole thought had been on business and pleasure. All of a sudden his whole thought was on God and healing, the same individual, only with a transformation such as took place in the experience of Moses, a realization of true identity, an experience that must have taken place in the minds of many others before and since.
"From this moment on there were two men. There was Joel, an individual always hovering around somewhere in the background, but showing tendencies which continuously led to many human mistakes, many human errors of judgment, many human discords, but fortunately only apparent to himself at intervals. On the other hand, there was the individual who on that day of revelation or regeneration was ordained within as a spiritual healer.
"From that day to this I have paid respect to the practitioner for having been responsible for the entire change in my life and for all that has happened to me in a spiritual way since then. . . . It is true that my thirteen years of work prepared me for such an experience, but his was the touch that brought about the transformation. It was he who changed my life, he who was accustomed to spend one whole day every week without taking a patient, without attempting to earn a dollar, without attempting to use spiritual power, one whole day a week in every week just to renew and fulfill himself with the Spirit. And look what that practice of spending a day like that did for me!

IMPERSONALIZING EVIL AND GOOD

In his 1959 Letters he says this:
never look upon anyone as a sinner or regard any person as the source of any form of evil, such as greed, lust, mad ambition, or some form of personal sense indulgence…
if we personalize error in any form, we become the victim of it and are the blind leading the blind. That is why it is incorrect practice to admonish a patient or student to be more loving, to be more forgiving, or to be more grateful is personalizing the error.
If we find that a patient is not loving, kind, or gentle, that is, not spiritual, then let us relieve that patient by realizing that these qualities are not personal. They are a nothingness… it can not use a child of God as an avenue, as a channel, or as an instrument. It has no presence, no power, and no law with which to sustain its activities.
We do not deny non-loving actions and their discordant results, but they were happening not due to the personal fault of the individual. They were but claims, suggestions, hypnotism, mesmerism, illusion, and error. Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science called this invisible entity the carnal mind.
You can see how even a small measure of understanding the principle of impersonalising negative qualities can help us to love others and ourselves and to forgive others and ourselves.
In the Bible, Jesus personified this principle when he said of the lady caught in adultery, “Neither do I condemn thee, but sin no more” and when he said of  those that were about to crucify him, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”
But not only does Joel bring out the importance impersonalising  negative qualities and acts, but he goes further, and this may be  even harder to grasp: the impersonalization of good.
We can never take credit for being good, just, benevolent, moral, honest, and faithful. Whatever such qualities we possess are God-qualities and represent God expressing itself as our individual qualities, characteristics and nature
How wonderful to give the first fruits to the God within and not to ourselves! What joy to glorify the creator for all the good we see in ourselves, others, and nature. This moves us into a state of beholding and witnessing the good. We experience the love of God and feel grateful.
SPIRITUAL HEALING
A very high method of spiritual healing articulated by Joel is by the awareness of the healer of the infinite invisible Spirit of the recipient through spiritual discernment. It is to be able to realize the scriptural truth of “Judge not by appearances, but righteous judgment.” It is to be able to pierce through the veil of humanhood to discern the real man of God’s making.
From his book, “The Art of Spiritual Healing”:
Treatment is always the recognition of the nothingness of the condition and deals only with God and the qualities of God-God as infinite good, the infinite All, the infinite presence, the infinite effect. Finally, the realization is achieved that God is really all-in-all, and besides God there is none else, and by that time, you have come to see that there is not such a thing as patient, because there could not be a person, personality, or individuality apart from God, nor could there be a condition or circumstance apart from God.
PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS
Joel gives many in suggestions that are very practical in daily living to those on spiritual paths, whatever that path be.
As to problems and decisions, he suggests that often the best thing to do is not to solve the problem or make the decision at the level of the problem. Relax, and allow the infinite love-intelligence of the universe do the work.

CONCLUSION
I would like to close by pondering Joel’s statement about happiness that I quoted at the beginning in the context of love:
“Happiness or unhappiness, what does it matter! Happiness is of the Spirit”
Joel has a dim view of happiness because of its usual mode of searching for it in the material world.
Like the ancient yogi mystics, he saw that this framework for happiness is not permanent. People either lose partially or wholly what gave them happiness or fear that they will lose it. A person entering into a marriage is joyous, but marriage can turn out to be a most unhappy experience. A person who is rejected in a relationship is unhappy, but then soon thereafter can meet someone who can completely change unhappiness into joy. So, we see that both happiness and its opposite are impermanent. As we so often hear and experience, “time heals” and “this too will pass.”
Therefore, Joel says that the wise person should not be overjoyed from human happiness nor be overly discouraged or depressed from human unhappiness.
The mystic goes deeper to finding a place of inner peace, which is a place beyond both dualities, a place of unconditional love. That space in is infinite and eternal.
Joel said this about love, which when experienced, is the proscription for everlasting happiness:
All of God’s love is available to us, and in the face of this fact it is strange and sad to contemplate how small is man’s capacity to receive it.The reason is that we seek love from each other, instead of from God...only as we release each other from the bondage of duty, obligation, and debt, and realize that God alone is love...does love flow freely to us and through us to others...to seek supply, safety, and security at the expense of others is folly. But to pray that all men everywhere, friend and foe alike, may know the infinite abundance of God’s grace and the blessing of his presence...is harmony, health, joy, and abundance
Joel’s main thrust of Joel was to follow truth principles to open channels to experience God’s universal love. This love leads to love of self, love of God (gratitude), love of others (compassion), elimination of fear, and life eternal.
This means that human happiness and unhappiness become less important preoccupations. The light of God realization, “my peace”, gradually replaces the darkness of human ignorance. Then, abundance, health, joy, and true love relationships follow.
I believe that the 12th century Sufi mystic Rumi was speaking of this transcendent place of love of self, fellow man, and for God when he wrote this verse:
“Out beyond the ideas of right and wrong doing, there is a field-I will meet you there”
Joel has left us with truth principles to help us move in the direction of the love experience and connection.
The path to achieve this is by understanding more the nature of God; the identity of man; the relationship of man to God; practicing the presence of God; meditation; impersonaliZing evil and good; and the principles and practice of spiritual healing.

The Mystical I

Joel S. Goldsmith

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I
will come in to him, and I will sup with him, and he with me.
-Revelations 3.20
                     CHAPTER I
I STAND AT THE DOOR
"I stand at the door, and knock." Who is this I standing at the door?* And at what door
is this I standing? At what door but the door of your consciousness? I stand at the door of
your consciousness and knock, but you must open the door and admit Me, for "I am the
bread of life.... I am the way, the truth, and the life.... I am the resurrection, and the life....
I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly."
The I that is standing at the door of your consciousness and knocking is the I that has
come that you might have the life more abundant. When you admit that I into your
consciousness, you have admitted life eternal: the bread of life, the water of life, and the
wine of life. You have admitted into your consciousness the power of resurrection: the
resurrection of your body, your home, your marriage, your fortune, and your business.
Only when you admit I into your consciousness, do you admit into yourself the secret of
life. When you acknowledge that that I in the midst of you is mighty, you are not
speaking of a man or of any person: you are speaking of the I, I.

The material in this volume first appeared in the form of letters sent to students of The Infinite Way
throughout the world as an aid to the revelation and unfoldment of the transcendental Consciousness
through a deeper understanding of Scripture and the principles of The Infinite Way.-ED.
*The word I, italicized, refers to God, as does the word Me.

Close your eyes and within yourself, silently, sacredly, secretly, and gently say the
word, "I, I." That I in the midst of you is mighty. That I in the midst of you is greater than
any problem in the outside world. That I in the midst of you is come that you might have

life and might have it more abundantly. That I has been with you since "before Abraham
was," awaiting your recognition and your acknowledgment.

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God?" Know ye not that the name of God is I, or
I AM, and that you are the temple of God only when you have admitted I into your
consciousness and held It there secretly, sacredly, gently, peaceably, so that at any
moment you can close your eyes and just remember I?*

This I that is in the midst of me a life eternal. This I that is within me is the He that is
mighty.

Just as this unveiling of the truth of your true relationship with God and with all
mankind has taken place in you, some day it will include all of human consciousness.
God does not select a personal "you" or a personal "me" for his blessings. God's grace is
unveiled that it may be shared by all mankind. True, it comes only into the consciousness
prepared for it, but "two or three ... gathered together in my name" or "ten righteous men"
can save a city. So, as consciousness is more and more open to this unveiling of truth, the
entire world will be embraced in this same relationship that is now being experienced by
students of The Infinite Way.

His Spirit is upon me, and I am ordained to heal the sick, but not without His Spirit
being upon me. I am ordained to heal the sick, not by virtue of any words that I know or
thoughts that I think, but by virtue of His Spirit being upon me, and then the right words
and the right thoughts will come through.

At this stage of unfolding consciousness, you are responsible for every picture that
presents itself to your sight or hearing. You may not "pass by on the other side" of the
road. It is given to men living purely in the human world to ignore the troubles of their
fellow men, especially if they are of a different land, a different religion, or a different
race. It is not so given unto you. The Grace which you have received from God was given
you, not for you: it was given as the fruitage of God which the world is to eat. "Take, eat;
this is my body." You are a fruitful vine on which grapes grow: you are spiritually fed
and spiritually clothed and spiritually housed. Give up your grapes; let your grapes go out
into the market, into the world.
You owe a debt to God and to the world, and the debt is that you do not pass by on the
other side of the road, but take note of every discord and every inharmony and bring to
bear the activity of the Christ. Be a transparency through which the Christ dissolves the
appearance. You do not necessarily have to think anything, but you must be still. You

must be still for an instant, and let His Spirit flow through you and dissolve the
appearance. You may not pass by on the other side.
You are at a state of spiritual unfoldment where you have already been told to leave
your "nets"-not to go anywhere or do anything, but just not to be concerned about your
"nets" in the face of appearances. Rather cease your fishing for a moment and be "fishers
of men." And how? Just by recognition. It takes only a moment, the blink of an eye, to
realize that in the presence of the Christ, temporal power is not power. It has only the
"arm of flesh."
You cannot serve God, whom you have not seen and do not know, except as you serve
man, whom you do know. Your only way of serving God is in serving man. This is
giving the first fruits unto God. The only way you have of neglecting your service to God
is to neglect your service to man.
It is good and right that out of your material resources you share something with those
who have less or who have nothing. That is a minor but necessary part of your spiritual
development, because we all must acknowledge that we have very little in the way of
material resources to give in comparison to the needs of the world.
You who walk in the Light have more to give individually than an entire nation has to
give, for the nations can give only of material resources which are limited and finite, but
you have living waters, you have spiritual meat, you have spiritual wine, spiritual bread.
You have the word of Life; you have the Spirit of God incarnate in you.
Above all, you have a moment of silence, so that in that silence the voice of God may
thunder. This is the most precious gift in all the world. You have emptiness. You bring to
God every day an empty barrel, an empty consciousness, praying:

Fill me today with all Thou art. Fill me with Thy Soul, with Thy Spirit, with Thy grace
that my presence on earth may glorify Thee, that my presence on earth may show forth
Thy glory, "with the glory which I had with thee before the world was, " the original
glory of divine sonship.

You might ask yourself every once in a while, "Why was I born? To what purpose have
I come to earth?" If you listen, you will hear the Voice say, ` I am come that ye might
have life, that this world might have life." "Ye" is not just you. "Ye" is all human
consciousness. I am come that human consciousness may be fulfilled with the Spirit of
God, filled full of the Spirit of God. I am come that the kingdom of God may come on
earth as it is in heaven.
You are not only on earth, but you are of the earth until the moment comes in which you
realize, "the Spirit of God dwells in me." You are the man of earth until the realization
has come to you that as man or woman you are nothing-nothing, less than nothing. It is
only as the Spirit of God touches your consciousness that you are awakened, enlivened.
You are "the walking dead" until the Spirit of God touches you, that through you this
Spirit may be allowed to flow to all mankind.
The manner of it is to realize that in the face of every appearance, whenever a human
being appears to you, you are to lift up the son of God in him and realize God incarnate in
him. Whenever an appearance of sin, disease, death, lack, limitation, or disaster presents
itself to you, you are instantly to remember that in the presence of God-realized, in the
presence of the realized Christ, temporal power is not power. In heaven or on earth, there

is no power greater than I AM.

Then you will understand this relationship that has been kept secret from the world, the
invisible bond that exists among all mystics. The visible and invisible mystics of the
world who have recognized I standing at the door of their consciousness, are eternally
united in consciousness, sharing with one another.

I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it. -Revelation 3:8

(added by Danny)

To nourish the vital energy, keep watch in silence;

In order to subdue the mind, act with non-action.

Of movement and stillness, be aware of their origin;

There is no work to do, much less someone to seek.

The true and constant must respond to phenomena;

Responding to phenomena, you must be unconfused.

When unconfused, the nature will stabilize by itself;

When the nature stabilizes, energy returns by itself.

When energy returns, the elixir crystallizes by itself;

Within the pot, the trigrams of kǎn and lí are joined.

Yīn and yáng arise, alternating over and over again;

Every transformation comes like a clap of thunder.

White clouds form and come to assemble at the peak;

The sweet nectar sprinkles down Mount Sumeru.

Swallow for yourself this wine of immortality;

You wander so freely—who is able to know you?

Sit and listen to the tune played without strings;

Clearly understand the mechanism of creation.

It comes entirely from these twenty lines;

A true ladder going straight to Heaven.-Daoist text -

Beyond the lips

*note*..amazing explaining from the Buddha...taken from my favorite buddhist saint
Venerable Acariya Maha Boowa Ñanasampanno (it matches my mahayogi name
(loved in the 3 worlds, worshiped in 10..etc..) ..but..
I'm not venerable enough,indeed..since I'm still a virgin:)kiss....what is interesting is that are 2 kinds
of buddhas..one buddha is the very realization of the right channel(or your right hand
..it ends on the left side of brain..that's the logical great buddha..he tells you
this is that..that is this..there is absolutely no error on his part..he knows the
secrets of the universe..everything,baby!!..gotta love him! for this buddha there is
no progress whatsoever, since this constipated buddha
forgets that the very manifesting
factor of creation allowed him to see his real nature.
..however..he has no power.
The other buddha,if we ponder about....gets his realization using the bliss factor..he sings!!...
Halleluyah brothers!..we are all one!..he dances naked like a sufi dervish..he thinks
that's the way..his bliss is eternal he thinks..
he manifests powers..controls the weather..heals people by the thousands..
hey!..he even gives you a free ass massage(he loves it..!!..he uses both hands!!)
Both of them are wrong...since you are a resonator factor of the one..but the ONE
is you.
This is the resonator factor..
For you are not this..nore that..
Yet..the ONE resonates in you..grasshoppers from heaven..
This very pure awareness..this very creator of what you see..is YOU!
So now I'll post a poem of mine I wrote long before on
http://kriptodanny.blogspot.ro/2008/08/my-poems.html
anyway..here is the poem..
Beyond the lips!!
Kripto yoga is just bliss
The inner joy,the one you miss
Kripto yoga is above
The petty struggles..it's just love
It doesn't make you drink more beer
Your mind becomes so crispy clear
It is above the confrontation
It is about emancipation
It is your spirit shining though
Your heart,your eyes..your fingers too
It is with self a love affair
You breathe the joy ,not only air
You are a rainbow butterfly
You raise your wings..and go high..high..
You are alone and yet collective
Whatever you do..you're protected
You are reminded who you are
The God Almighty's sparkling star
My dear friend, the life is short
Don't let your soul become too old
Just feel the sunshine..it's not cold!!
Beyond beliefs..open your eyes
To inner kingdom's paradise!!!
So feel my yoga
Kripto's wise!
For I am to give you wisdom
Truth to tell..is freedom..freedom!
And my lips are getting softer..

"Just as if there were a pool of water in a mountain glen — clear, limpid, and unsullied — where a man with good eyes standing on the bank could see shells, gravel, and pebbles, and also shoals of fish swimming about and resting, and it would occur to him, 'This pool of water is clear, limpid, and unsullied. Here are these shells, gravel, and pebbles, and also these shoals of fish swimming about and resting;' so too, the monk discerns as it actually is, that 'This is stress... This is the origin of stress... This is the stopping of stress... This is the way leading to the stopping of stress... These are mental effluents... This is the origin of mental effluents... This is the stopping of mental effluents... This is the way leading to the stopping of mental effluents.'
*note*..here he talks from the ,,soul to spirit,, path (added by danny)
His heart, thus knowing, thus seeing, is released from the effluent of sensuality, released from the effluent of becoming, released from the effluent of unawareness.
 * note*  by ,,heart..he means the resonator factor..is just your attention,or Cita,as the Maha-Boowa called it..
is the heart in motion, not STATIC!..all of creation on the 3 realms(desire/form/formless) is based on this tension, like a string
being pulled on both extremes(love/wisdom)..while the ONE is the watcher...and the one is you.

With release, there is the knowledge, 'Released.' He discerns that, 'Birth is no more, the holy life is fulfilled, the task done. There is nothing further for this world.'
I do not recognize this wisdom from this sutra..looks like was modified by the translators is seems..
THE TRUE ONE AS BUDDHA SAID WAS..
With release, there is the knowledge, 'Released.' He discerns that, ' Birth is no more, since I KNOW MYSELF NOW.. the holy life is fulfilled, the task done ABOUT THE TRUTH ABOUT MY TRUE NATURE...There is nothing further for this world.'..SINCE I CAN NEVER BE CAUGHT IN THE MANIFESTING FACTORS ANYMORE..BUT I WILL MANIFEST ALWAYS to know myself since that's why I created the universe itself !!!

"This, great king, is a reward of the contemplative life, visible here and now, more excellent than the previous ones and more sublime. And as for another visible reward of the contemplative life, higher and more sublime than this, there is none."
— Samaññaphala Sutta, Digha Nikaya
*note* if this was the absolute wisdom..than would be no universe,no manifestation factors..no planets,no universe itself..and also no evolution of the wisdom factors in manifestation realms.
The writers didn't understand the buddha's words..really..
However..the mighty MAHAYOGI..loved in the 3 worlds..worshiped in 10
celebrated in all the others..
will give you so much wisdom...and love..even gods would cry in envy..kiss:)

*note* I am in vacation now..since I deserve it..a mahayogi like me(the mighty one..the future creator of the KRIPTO YOGA..which will save humanity,indeed..give them the logistics, the understandings ..the bliss power in themselves..I can't wait till I create it..maybe tonight..all I have to do is post about it..Halleluyah!!..feels good to save the humanity,I tell you that..) takes about 50 vacations a year..this is the way to do it,if you respect yourself..see? .. I'll wait for the 2012 end of the world predicted by the morons..just to pop up again and laugh hard of their cretinism...but my grasshoppers from heaven friends..before I leave you, while I enjoy my mountain cabin samadhi and work on my fresh, never heard..loved by gods and myself...Kripto Yoga system from heaven..(is inside me..all the universe is inside you,I tell you the truth,I am inside you, like a coyote watching you, waiting for you to give me the cheese ..so I can pop hard in your attention..

Remember THE ATTENTION is THE ONLY power YOU have..by the way..or the power to direct the attention..the rest is a resonance factor combined with Karma..the powers are not yours, they are just resonances..be careful of what I am saying..)

anyway..I'll give you some food for thought..and some leftover turkey from the famous Thanksgiving the Kripto Holiday..it feels good to have my own personal holiday..all those Americans worshiping my superior wisdom from heaven..maybe I'll start to love them more in the future,indeed... (kripto means the spirit within you,not me..even so we are identical)  ..comprende muchachos des dios?(understand you beautiful grasshoppers from heaven?)..

I'll comment more when I come back..(if I ever do,by the way...saints like me die young,at 146 years old..and I am only 240 years old now..but I look younger,indeed:))
In the meantime ..my friends..just know the reason I post this.
For some long time ago..when I went poof into the light...The light was me..and the light wanted to EXPERIENCE itself thru me..so I said..OK!..the problem was the light is non-dual..is UP to you to resolve the experiences,if you rely on the light within you.
See?
The universe has a fail-proof system...either you rely on your Source Within..or on your shadow of the Kripto...(or the shadow of the spirit within you, manifesting )
This pattern  CAN NOT BE broken..otherwise the whole universe will go down the drain...trust me!!
Pain/rewards are build on the creation factors to make you evolve(well..to make the Source evolve by you)

IN THE WHOLE history of the humanity....pain was the best...because it forced the people to look and find solutions.
BUT ME..THE MAHAYOGI..I PREDICT A NEW AGE..WHEN LOVE AND TRUTH WILL BE THE MAIN FORCE....for the people will understand the mechanics of the universe at last...
Well..they'll understand if I'll explain it(the truth) to them...kiss")...I'll think about explaining...
Well..let me explain you now..
Ok..I start explaining..WHATEVER YOU DO..NEVER DO THIS.....oppss..phone call..I'll explain later..
Kiss,grasshoppers..the universe loves you,if  only you'd understand that ......you are that...but you'd never understand that unless you meditate..
Thus spoken the mahayogi!.kiss:)

The Fangs of Unawareness

An excerpt from a talk given July 16, 1982

...This state of mind with its unawareness is a magnificent mind, bold and daring — not only radiant, but also bold and daring as well, and reckless because of its daring, in thinking that it's smart. It's not reckless in the ordinary way. It's reckless in line with its nature as a state of mind of this sort. This is called the nine forms of mana, or conceit. The nine forms of conceit lie right here. The Buddha explains this in the five higher fetters (sanyojana): passion for form, passion for formlessness, conceit, restlessness, and unawareness. Conceit means to assume — to assume that the state of mind blended into one with unawareness is one's self, that it's 'me' or 'mine', and then taking it to make comparisons: 'How is it with those people or these people? Are their minds on a par with mine? Higher than mine? Lower than mine?' This is why there are nine forms of conceit. In other words, three times three is nine. For example, our mind is lower than theirs, and we assume it to be lower than theirs, higher than theirs, or on a par. Our mind is on a par with theirs, and we assume it to be lower than theirs, higher than theirs, or on a par. Our mind is higher than theirs, and we assume it to be lower than theirs, higher than theirs, or on a par.
The refined level of defilement takes this state of mind out to make the comparison — because it's in the phase where it has fangs. Its fangs are growing sharp. The fangs of unawareness: They're called conceit, or self-assumption. Once this state is dissolved, what is there to assume? What is there to be radiant? To be defiled? To be bold and daring? To be afraid? There isn't anything, once that nature dissolves through the power of investigation.
These things, you know, are phenomena that create problems in line with their level. Their level is subtle, so they manage to create subtle problems. Blatant defilements create blatant problems. Subtle defilements create subtle problems. When the defilements are gone, there's nothing to create any problems. There are no more problems in any way, no more conditions for conventional reality to make further connections. All that remains is absolute purity, which is why there are no more problems.
Absolute purity is a condition for what? What problems does it create? The Buddha says that we run out of problems. This is where they run out. However many levels of becoming and birth there may be in the mind, it has known them step by step until it reaches the converging point, leaving just the seeds of these things that get planted here and there as birth. So we burn them up with tapas, the fire of our effort, until they are completely eradicated. So now are there any levels of becoming and birth to make further connections? Whom do we have to ask? Even if the buddha were sitting right in front of us, we wouldn't ask him, because the truth is the same for us as it is for him. There's nothing different enough for us to ask. This is why the Dhamma is said to be sanditthiko: We know it and see it ourself. Paccattam veditabbo viññuhi: Those who know it, know it for themselves alone. This means that only those who know it from the practice can know it. It can't be made available to anyone else.
This is what the Buddha calls vusitam brahmacariyam: It's the end of the job. The earth-shattering job is done — earth-shattering because becoming and birth build themselves up with earth, water, wind, and fire; or because any level of becoming and birth is a matter of convention, which is now overturned. This is why we say it's earth-shattering. So what is there to move in and take up residence in the mind?
Now we can watch defilement. Once we have completely killed defilement in this mind, then how can defilement be kept hidden from us when it displays itself in anyone else's mind or actions? This mind can't help but know it every time. As they say, defilement ordinarily rules us completely without our knowing it, but how can the Buddha and the arahants have any trouble seeing? They see in the flash of an eye and they're already disgusted. Those who know, know to the point where they're disgusted: What do you say to that? As for us, we're the blind living with the blind. We don't know our own affairs or those of anyone else. Neither side knows, but each side thinks that it knows, assumes that it knows, assumes that it's right — and so both sides argue and bite each other like dogs because their inner eyes don't see. They don't have the eye of discernment like the Buddha and the Noble Disciples. This is the way it is with defilement: It has to assume itself and exalt itself. The more vile it is, the more it assumes itself to be good. This is the way defilement is. It has never submitted to the truth of the Dhamma from time immemorial.
For this reason, we practice to stamp out these things. Don't let them linger in the heart. Stamp them out till they're completely scattered and smashed, and then you can be at your ease: the mind completely open and yet a reservoir for the quality of purity, without an inkling of convention passing in. If we were to make a comparison with conventional reality, it's an outer space mind, but that's just a manner of speaking.

  Every Grain of Sand

Excerpts from a talk given April 10, 1982

...When we investigate, we have to investigate over and over, time and time again, many, many times until we understand and are fully sure. The mind will then let go of its own accord. There's no way we can try to force it to let go as long as we haven't investigated enough. It's like eating: If we haven't reached the point where we're full, we're not full. There's no way we can try to make ourselves full with just one or two spoonfuls. We have to keep on eating, and then when we're full we stop of our own accord. We've had enough.
The same holds true with investigating. When we reach the stage where we fully know, we let go of our own accord: all our attachments to the body, feelings, labels, thought-formations, cognizance, step by step until we finally penetrate with our discernment into the mind itself — the genuine revolving wheel, the revolving mind — until it is smashed to pieces with nothing left. That's the point — that's the point where we end our problems in fighting with defilement. That's where they end — and our desire to go to nibbana ends right there as well.
The desire to go to nibbana is part of the path. It's not a craving. The desire to gain release from suffering and stress is part of the path. It's not a craving. Desire has two sorts: desire in the area of the world and desire in the area of the Dhamma. Desire in the area of the world is craving. Desire in the area of the Dhamma is part of the path. The desire to gain release from suffering, to go to nibbana, strengthens the Dhamma within us. Effort is the path. Persistence is the path. Endurance is the path. Perseverance in every way for the sake of release is the path. Once we have fully come into our own, the desire will disappear — and at that point, who would ask after nibbana?
Once the revolving wheel, the revolving mind has been smashed once and for all, there is no one among any of those who have smashed that revolving mind from their hearts who wants to go to nibbana or who asks where nibbana lies. The word 'nibbana' is simply a name, that's all. Once we have known and seen, once we have attained the genuine article within ourselves, what is there to question?
This is what it means to develop the mind. We've developed it from the basic stages to the ultimate stage of development. So. Now, no matter where we live, we are sufficient unto ourselves. The mind has built a full sufficiency for itself, so it can be at its ease anywhere at all. If the body is ill — aching, feverish, hungry, or thirsty — we are aware of it simply as an affair of the body that lies under the laws of inconstancy, stress, and lack of self. It's bound to keep shifting and changing in line with its nature at all times — but we're not deluded by it. The khandhas are khandhas. The pure mind is a pure mind by its nature, with no need to force it to know or to be deluded. Once it's fully true from every angle, everything is true. We don't praise or criticize anything at all, because each thing is its own separate reality — so why is there any reason to clash? If one side is true and the other isn't, that's when things clash and fight all the time — because one side is genuine and the other side false. But when each has its own separate reality, there's no problem.
Contemplate the mind so as to reach this stage, the stage where each thing has its own separate reality. Yatha-bhuta-ñana-dassana: the knowledge and vision of things as they are. The mind knows and sees things as they are, within and without, through and through, and then stays put with purity. If you were to say that it stays put, it stays put with purity. Whatever it thinks, it simply thinks. All the khandhas are khandhas pure and simple, without a single defilement to order their thinking, labeling, and interpreting any more. There are simply the khandhas pure and simple — the khandhas without defilements, or in other words, the khandhas of an arahant, of one who is free from defilement like the Lord Buddha and all his Noble Disciples. The body is simply a body. Feelings, labels, thought-formations, and cognizance are each simply passing conditions that we use until their time is up. When they no longer have the strength to keep going, we let them go in line with their reality. But as for the utterly true nature of our purity, there is no problem at all...
...Those who have reached full release from conventional realities of every sort, you know, don't assume themselves to be more special or worse than anyone else. For this reason, they don't demean even the tiniest of creatures. They regard them all as friends in suffering, birth, aging, illness, and death, because the Dhamma is something tender and gentle. Any mind in which it is found is completely gentle and can sympathize with every grain of sand, with living beings of every sort. There's nothing rigid or unyielding about it. Only the defilements are rigid and unyielding. Proud. Conceited. Haughty and vain. Once there's Dhamma, there are none of these things. There's only the unvarying gentleness and tenderness of mercy and benevolence for the world at all times.

To nourish the vital energy, keep watch in silence;

In order to subdue the mind, act with non-action.

Of movement and stillness, be aware of their origin;

There is no work to do, much less someone to seek.

The true and constant must respond to phenomena;

Responding to phenomena, you must be unconfused.

When unconfused, the nature will stabilize by itself;

When the nature stabilizes, energy returns by itself.

When energy returns, the elixir crystallizes by itself;

Within the pot, the trigrams of kǎn and lí are joined.

Yīn and yáng arise, alternating over and over again;

Every transformation comes like a clap of thunder.

White clouds form and come to assemble at the peak;

The sweet nectar sprinkles down Mount Sumeru.

Swallow for yourself this wine of immortality;

You wander so freely—who is able to know you?

Sit and listen to the tune played without strings;

Clearly understand the mechanism of creation.

It comes entirely from these twenty lines;

A true ladder going straight to Heaven.-Daoist text -

Unless you know the emptiness and bliss inside yourself..you'll be a robot forced by the same emptiness and bliss trying to know itself..by pain..inside your self also..trust me!..said the mahayogi!

He asked..What is the Tao?(Secret of the Golden Flower)

Lead me from dreaming to waking.
Lead me from opacity to clarity. Lead me from the complicated to the simple. Lead me from the obscure to the obvious. Lead me from intention to attention. Lead me from what I'm told I am to what I see I am. Lead me from confrontation to wide openness. Lead me to the place I never left, Where there is peace, and peace -from the Upanishads- Unless you know the emptiness and bliss inside yourself..you'll be a robot forced by the same emptiness and bliss trying to know itself..by pain.. ...inside your self also..trust me!..said the mahayogi! so listen to the mahayogi..,grasshopper from heaven....
In silence there must be movement, and in motion,
There must be silence.
A small movement is better than a big one..
No movement is better than a small one..listen!
Silence is all the movement's mother..
In Movement you should be like a dragon or a tiger.
In non Movement you should be like a Buddha.

please you do that if you catch the Taoists by their 10,000 old immortal penises..
thousands of years of religion...zero,nada got thru their thick, solid as rock brains..
No wonder the Buddha laughed at them.
and they still speak in parables??..guess they never heard of Jesus?
Well..I recommend they go back to their mountain caves..and be as immortal

and only bones will remain of them..trust me..let them rot in their caves, and never
reveal the secret method I say..because the Mahayogi will do it for them,
and you can then go
to the Taoist mountain caves.. and collect the 10,000 years old bones of them,
since that's
ALL what will remain of them when I'm done with their insanity.

He asked: What is the Dao?
I replied: The Dao is Ancestral Breath prior to Heaven that generates all things.
Look at it, and you do not see it; listen to it, and you do not
hear it; grasp it, and you do not get it. It envelops and enwraps Heaven
and Earth and gives life and nourishment to the ten thousand things. It
is so great that there is nothing outside it, so small that there is nothing
inside it. Confucians call it Great Ultimate; Taoists call it Golden
Elixir; Buddhists call it Complete Awareness. Fundamentally it has no
name, but if we are forced to call, it we say Dao. If it is determined,
one is in error; if it is discussed, one loses it. It has no shape and no
image; it is not form and not emptiness; it is not Being and not Nonbeing.
If it is attributed the images of form and emptiness, of Being
and Non-being, it is not the Dao.
He asked: If the Dao has no shape and no image and if it is the One
inchoate Breath, why does the Book of Changes say: “One Yin, one
Yang, this is the Dao”?

What is referred to as mindlessness is absence of the human
mentality; what is referred to as mindfulness is mindfulness of the
Tao. When one is free of the human mentality, the mutual sensing of
the earthly and celestial is swift; when one is mindful of the Tao,
effective practice endures. Swiftness of sensing comes about
spontaneously, without cultivation, without striving; long
perseverance comes about through effort, and involves action and
striving. Striving and non-striving each has its secret; the
distinction is all a matter of the absence of the human mentality
and the presence of mindfulness of the Tao. After one has reached
complete realization of the universal Tao, neither existence nor
nonexistence remain; others and self are ultimately empty, and one
enters the state of ultimate truthfulness, like a spirit. Here, it
is not only the human mentality that cannot be applied; even the
mindfulness of Tao is not applicable." - Liu I-ming

He asked: If the Dao has no shape and no image and if it is the One
inchoate Breath, why does the Book of Changes say: “One Yin, one
Yang, this is the Dao”?
I replied: The words “one Yin, one Yang, this is the Dao” express the
operation of the Dao. The words “it has no shape and no image” express
the substance of the Dao. Before the Great Ultimate divides itself
[into Yin and Yang], the Dao envelops Yin and Yang. After the Great
Ultimate divides itself, it is Yin and Yang that give life to the Dao.
Without Yin and Yang, the Breath of the Dao would not be visible. It is
only in the alternation of Yin and Yang that the Breath of the Dao can
grow and maintain itself for innumerable eons without being damaged.
In the state prior to Heaven, [this Breath] is the Dao; in the state
posterior to Heaven, it is Yin and Yang.
The Dao is the root of Yin and Yang; Yin and Yang are what is born of
the Dao. When we say that the Great Ultimate divides itself and becomes
Yin and Yang, and that Yin and Yang join to each other and
form the Great Ultimate, we mean that it is One, but they are Two; and
they are Two, but it is One.

Liu I-ming (c.1737-1826), after being cured of a grave illness by a Taoist adept,
left home at age 19, studied under at least two great teachers, and, at age 60, began to
write many brilliant commentaries on Taoist classics, as well as many essays, songs and
poems of his own, revealing the “secret” natural, simple way of inner alchemy according
to a very pure form of teaching as given in the Northern sect of Complete Reality Taoism.
http://dodona777.wordpress.com/2010/02/25/awakening-to-the-tao-by-liu-i-ming-an-excerpt/
If a lamp has no cover a draft will put it out, but if the lamp is enclosed in a cover,
it will not go out even if there is a gust of breeze. If a brazier has no screen
it will get dusty, but if the brazier is screened it will not be fouled even by flying dust.

What I realize as I observe this is the Tao of safeguarding the foundation of consciousness.
Our conscious awareness is like a lamp or a brazier; awareness of reality is
like a lamp glass or a brazier screen. If conscious awareness is not covered
and protected by awareness of reality, the discriminating spirit will use
consciousness to produce illusions, so it will be influenced by objects.
Then the artificial will be in charge, the real will withdraw; aberrant energy
will cover up sane energy. Like a lamp being extinguished, like a brazier being fouled,
we lose our original selves. If conscious awareness is mated with awareness of reality,
and awareness of reality is used to control conscious awareness while conscious
awareness is used to follow awareness of reality, then the discriminating spirit
has no way to emerge, the energy of consciousness has no way to fly. When the root basis
is firm and stable, it may enter water without drowning, enter fire without burning.
No pernicious external influences can harm it. This is like when a lamp has a cover
and so does not go out, like a brazier that has a screen and so is not fouled by flying dust.

 – excerpted from Awakening To The Tao, by Liu I-Ming
Secret of the Golden Flower
This ancient esoteric treatise was transmitted orally for
centuries before being recorded on a series of wooden tablets
in the eighth century. It was recorded by a member of the
Religion of Light, whose leader was the Taoist adept Lu Yen
(also known as Lu Yen and Lu “Guest of the Cavern”). It is said
that Lu Tzu became one of the Eight Immortals using these
methods. The ideas have been traced back to Persia and the
Zarathustra tradition and its roots in the Egyptian Hermetic
tradition.
1. HEAVENLY CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE HEART
Master Lu Tzu said: That which exists through itself is called
Meaning. (Tao). Meaning has neither name nor force. It is the
one essence, the one primordial spirit. Essence and life cannot
be seen. It is contained in the Light of Heaven. The light of
Heaven cannot be seen. It is contained in the two eyes. Today I
will be your guide and will first reveal to you the secret of the
Golden Flower of the Great One, and, starting from that, I will
explain the rest in detail.
The Great One is the term given to that which has nothing above it.
The secret of the magic of life
consists in using action in order to achieve non-action. One must not wish to leave out the steps
between and penetrate directly. The maxim handed down to us is to take in hand the work on the
essence. In doing this it is important not to follow the wrong road.
The Golden Flower is the Light. What color has the light? One uses the Golden Flower as an image.
 It
is the true power of the transcendent Great One. The phrase, "The lead of the water-region has
 but
one taste," refers to it. The work on the circulation of the Light depends entirely on the
backwardflowing
movement, so that the thoughts are gathered together (the place of Heavenly Consciousness,
the Heavenly Heart). The Heavenly Heart lies between sun and moon (i.e., the two eyes).
The Book of the Yellow Castle says: In the field of the square inch of the house of
the square foot, life
can be regulated. The house of the square foot is the face. The field of the square
 inch in the face:
What could that be other than the Heavenly Heart? In the middle of the square inch dwells the
splendor. In the purple hall of the city of jade dwells the god of utmost emptiness and life.
The
Confucians call it the center of emptiness; the Buddhists, the terrace of life;
the Taoists, the ancestral
land, or the yellow castle, or the dark pass, or the space of former Heaven.
The Heavenly Heart is like
the dwelling place, the Light is the master. Therefore when the Light circulates,
the powers of the
whole body arrange themselves before its throne, just as when a holy king has taken
possession of the
capital and has laid down the fundamental rules of order, all the states approach
 with tribute, or, just as
when the master is quiet and calm, men-servants and maids obey his orders of their own accord, and
each does his work.
Therefore you only have to make the Light circulate: that is the deepest and most wonderful secret.
The Light is easy to move, but difficult to fix. If it is allowed to go
long enough in a circle, then it
crystallizes itself: that is the natural spirit -body. This crystallized spirit
is formed beyond the nine
Heavens. It is the condition of which it is said in the Book of the Seal of the Heart:
Silently in the
morning thou fliest upward.
In carrying out this fundamental truth you need to seek for no other methods,
 but must only
concentrate your thoughts on it. The book Leng Yen says: By collecting the thoughts one can fly and
will be born in Heaven. Heaven is not the wide blue sky, but the place where the body is made in the
house of the creative. If one keeps this up for a long time, there develops quite naturally in addition to
the body, yet another spirit-body.
The Golden Flower is the Elixir of Life (literally, golden ball, golden pill). All changes of spiritual
consciousness depend upon the Heart. Here is a secret charm, which, although it works very
accurately, is yet so fluent that it needs extreme intelligence and clarity, and complete absorption and
calm. People without this highest degree of intelligence and understanding do not find the way to apply
the charm; People without this utmost capacity for concentration and calm cannot keep fast hold of it.
2. THE PRIMORDIAL SPIRIT AND THE CONSCIOUS SPIRIT
Master Lu Tzu said: In comparison with Heaven and
earth, man is like a mayfly. But compared to the Great
Meaning, Heaven and earth, too, are like a bubble and
a shadow. Only the primordial spirit and the true
essence overcome time and space.
The power of the seed, like Heaven and earth, is
subject to mortality, but the primordial spirit is beyond
the polar differences. Here is the place whence
Heaven and Earth derive their being. When students
understand how to grasp the primordial spirit, they
overcome the polar opposites of Light and darkness
and tarry no longer in the three worlds. But only he
who has looked on essence in its original
manifestation is able to do this.
When men are set free from the womb the primordial
spirit dwells in the square inch (between the eyes), but
the conscious spirit dwells below in the heart. This
lower fleshly heart has the shape of a large peach: it is
covered by the wings of the lungs, supported by the
liver, and served by the bowels. This heart is
dependent on the outside world. If a man does not eat for one day even, it feels extremely
uncomfortable. If it hears something terrifying it throbs; if it hears something enraging it stops; if its is
faced with death it becomes sad; if it sees something beautiful it is dazzled. But the Heavenly Heart in
the head, when would it have been in the leased moved? Dost thou ask: Can the Heavenly Heart not
be moved? Then I answer: How could the true thought in the square inch be moved? If it really moves,
it is not well. For when ordinary men die, then it moves, but that is not good. It is best indeed if the
Light has already fortified itself in a spirit body and its life force gradually penetrated the instincts and
movements. But that is a secret which has not been revealed for thousands of years.
The lower heart moves like a strong, powerful commander who despises the Heavenly ruler because
of his weakness, and has seized for himself the leadership of the affairs of state. But when the
primordial castle can be fortified and defended, then it is as if a strong and wise ruler sat upon the
throne. The two eyes start the Light circulating like two ministers at the right and left who support the
ruler with all their might. When the ruler in the center is thus in order, all those rebellious heroes will
present themselves with lances reversed ready to take orders.
The way to the Elixir of life recognizes as supreme magic, seed-water, spirit-fire, and thought-earth;
these three. What is seed-water? It is the true, one power (eros) of former Heaven. Spirit-fire is the
Light (logos). Thought-earth is the Heavenly Heart of the middle house (intuition). Spirit-fire is used for
effecting, thought-earth for substance, and seed-water for the foundation. Ordinary men make their
bodies through thoughts. The body is not only the 7 ft. tall outer body. In the body is the anima. The
anima, having produced consciousness, adheres to it. Consciousness depends for its origin on the
anima. The anima is feminine, the substance of consciousness. As long as this consciousness is not
interrupted, it continues to beget from generation to generation, and the changes of form of the anima
and the transformations of substance are unceasing.
But, besides this, there is the animus in which the spirit shelters. The animus lives in the daytime in the
eyes; at night it houses in the liver. When living in the eyes, it sees; when housing itself in the liver, it
dreams. Dreams are the wanderings of the spirit through all nine Heavens and all the nine earths. But
whoever is dull and moody on waking, and chained to his bodily form, is fettered by the anima.
Therefore the concentration of the animus is effected by the circulation of the Light, and in this way the
spirit is protected, the anima subjected, and consciousness is annulled. The method used by the
ancients for escaping from the world consisted in burning out completely the slag of darkness in order
to return to the purely creative. This is nothing more than a reduction of the anima and a bringing to
perfection of the animus. And the circulation of the Light is the magical means of limiting the dark
powers and gaining mastery of the anima. Even if the work is not directed toward bringing back the
creative, but confines itself to the magical means of the circulation, one returns to the creative, If this
method is followed, plenty of seed-water will be present of itself; the spirit-fire will be ignited, and the
thought-earth will solidify and crystallize. And thus can the holy fruit mature. The scarab rolls his ball
and in the ball there develops life as the effect of the undivided effort of his spiritual concentration. If
now and embryo can grow in manure, and shed its skin, why should not the dwelling place of our
Heavenly Heart also be able to create a body if we concentrate the spirit upon it?
The one effective, true essence (logos united with life), when it descends into the house of the
creative, divides into animus and anima. The animus is in the Heavenly Heart. It is of the nature of
light; it is the power of lightness and purity. It is that which we have received from the great emptiness,
that which has form from the very beginning. The anima partakes of the nature of darkness. It is the
power of the heavy and the turbid; it is bound to the bodily, fleshly heart. The animus loves life. The
anima seeks death. All sensuous pleasures and impulses to anger are effects of the anima; it is the
conscious spirit which after death is nourished on blood, but which, during life, is in direst need.
Darkness returns to darkness and like things attract each other. But the pupil understands how to distill
the dark anima so that it transforms itself into Light.
3. CIRCULATION OF THE LIGHT AND PROTECTION OF THE CENTER
Master Lu Tzu said: Since when has the
expression "circulation of the Light" been
revealed? It was revealed by the "true men of the
beginning of form". When the Light is allowed to
move in a circle, all the powers of Heaven and
earth, of the light and the dark, are crystallized.
That is what is described as seed-like, or
purification of the power, or purification of the
concept. When one begins to apply this magic, it
is as if, in the middle of one's being, there was a
non-being. When in the course of time the work
is finished, and beyond the body is another body,
it is as if, in the middle of the non-being, there
were a being. Only after a completed work of a
hundred days will the Light be real, then only will
it become spirit-fire. After a hundred days, there
develops by itself in the middle of the Light, a
point of the true Light-pole. Suddenly there
develops a seed pearl. It is as if man and woman
embraced and a conception took place. Then
one must be quite still in order to await it. The
circulation of the Light is the epoch of fire.
In the midst of primal becoming, the radiance of the Light is the determining thing. In the physical world
it is the sun; in man the eye. The emanation and dissemination of spiritual consciousness is chiefly
brought about by this power when it is directed outward (flown downward). Therefore the meaning of
the Golden Flower depends wholly on the backward-flowing method.
Circulation of the Light is not only a circulation of the seed-blossom of the body, but it is, in the first
place, a circulation of the true, creative, formative powers. It has to do, not with a momentary fantasy,
but with the exhaustion of the circular course (soul wanderings) of all the eons. Therefore a breathpause
means a year – according to human reckoning – and a hundred years measured by the long
night of the nine paths (of reincarnation).
After a person has the one tone of individualization behind them, they will be born outward according
to the circumstances, and not until he is old will he turn a single time to the backward-flowing way. The
force of the Light exhausts itself and trickles away. That brings the nine-fold darkness (of rebirths) into
the world. In the book Leng Yen it is said: By concentrating the thoughts, one can fly; by concentrating
the desires, one falls. When a pupil takes little care of his thoughts and much care of his desires, he
gets into the path of depravity. Only through contemplation and quietness does true intuition arise; for
that, the backward-flowing method is necessary.
In the book of the Secret Correspondences, it is said: Release is in the eye. In the Simple Questions of
the Yellow Ruler, it is said: The seed-blossom of the human body must be concentrated upward in the
empty space. That refers to it. Immortality is contained in this sentence and also the overcoming of the
world is contained in it. That is the common goal of all religions.
The Light is not in the body alone, neither is it only outside the body. Mountains and rivers and the
great earth are lit by sun and moon; all that is this Light. Therefore it is not only within the body.
Understanding and clarity, knowing and enlightenment, and all motion (of the spirit), are likewise this
Light; therefore it is not just something outside the body. The Light-flower of Heaven and earth fills all
thousand spaces. But also the Light-flower of one body passes through Heaven and covers the earth.
Therefore, just as the Light is circulating, so Heaven and earth, mountains and rivers, are all rotating
with it at the same time. To concentrate the seed-flower of the human body above in the eyes, that is
the great key of the human body. Children, take heed! If for a day you do not practice meditation, this
Light streams out, who knows whither? If you only meditate for a quarter of an hour, you can set ten
thousand eons and a thousand births at rest. All methods take their source in quietness. This
marvelous magic cannot be fathomed.
But when the work is started, one must press on from the obvious to the profound, from the course to
the fine. Everything depends on there being no interruption. The beginning and the end of the work
must be one. In between there are cooler and warmer moments, that goes without saying. But the goal
must be to reach the breadth of Heaven and the depths of the sea, so that all methods seem quite
easy and taken for granted. Only then do we have it in hand.
All holy men have bequeathed this to one another: nothing is possible without contemplation. When
Confucious says: knowing brings one to the goal; or when Buddha calls it: the view of the Heart; or Lao
Tzu says: inward vision, it is all the same.
Anyone can talk about reflection, but he cannot master it if he does not know what the word means.
What has to be changed by reflection is the self-conscious heart, which has to direct itself toward that
point where the formative spirit is not yet manifest. Within our 6 ft. body, we must strive for the form
which existed before the laying down of Heaven and earth. If today people sit and meditate only one or
two hours, looking only at their own egos, and call it contemplation, how can anything come of it?
The two founders of Buddhism and Taoism have taught that one should look at the end of one's nose.
But they did not mean that one should fasten one's thoughts to the end of the nose. Neither did they
mean that, while the eyes were looking at the end of the nose, the thoughts should be concentrated on
the yellow middle. Wherever the eye looks, the heart is directed also. How can the glance be directed
at the same time upward (yellow middle), and downward (end of the nose), or alternating, so that it is
now up, now down? All that means confusing the finger with which one points to the moon with the
moon itself.
What is really meant by this? The expression, "end of the nose," is very cleverly chosen. The nose
must serve the eyes as a guiding line. If one is not guided by the nose, either one opens wide the eyes
and looks into the distance, so that the nose is not seen, or the lids shut too much, so that the eyes
close, and again the nose is not seen. But when the eyes are opened too wide, one makes the mistake
of directing them outward, whereby one is easily distracted. If they are closed too much then one
makes the mistake of letting them turn inward, whereby one easily sinks into a dreamy reverie. Only
when the eyelids are sunk properly halfway, is the end of the nose seen in just the right way. Therefore
it is taken as a guiding line. The main thing is to lower the eyelids in the right way, and then allow the
Light to stream in of itself, without trying to force the Light to stream in by a concentrated effort.
Looking at the nose serves only as the beginning of the inner concentration, so that the eyes are
brought into the right direction for looking, and then are held to the guiding line; after that, one can let it
be. That is the way a mason hangs up a plumb line. As soon as he has hung it up, he guides his work
by it without continually bothering himself to look at the plumb line. Fixating contemplation is a
Buddhist method which by no means has been handed down as a secret.
On looks with both eyes at the end of the nose, sits upright and in a comfortable position, and holds
the heart to the center in the midst of conditions (on the fixed pole in the flight of phenomena). In
Taoism it is called the yellow middle, in Buddhism the center in the midst of conditions. The two are the
same. It does not necessarily mean the middle of the head. It is only a matter of fixing one's thinking
on the point that lies exactly between the two eyes. Then all is well. The Light is something extremely
mobile. When one fixes the thought on the midpoint between the two eyes, the Light streams in of its
own accord. It is not necessary to direct the attention especially to the central castle. In these few
words the most important thing is contained.
"The center in the midst of conditions," is a very fine expression. The center is omnipresent; everything
is contained in it; it is connected with the release of the release of the whole process of creation. The
condition is the portal. The condition, that is the fulfillment of this condition, makes the beginning, but it
does not bring about the rest with inevitable necessity. The meaning of these two words is very fluid
and subtle.
Fixating contemplation is indispensable, it ensures the strengthening of illumination. Only one must not
stay sitting rigidly if worldly thoughts come up, but one must examine where the thought is, where it
began, and where it fades out. Nothing is gained by pushing reflection further, One must be content to
see where the thought arose, and not seek beyond the point of origin; for to find the heart
(consciousness), to get behind consciousness with consciousness - that cannot be done. We want to
bring the status of the heart together in rest – that is true contemplation. What contradicts it is false
contemplation. This leads to no goal. When the flight of thoughts keeps extending farther, one should
stop and begin contemplating. Let one contemplate and then start concentrating again. That is the
double method of strengthening the illumination. It means the circular course of the light. The circular
course is fixation. The Light is contemplation. Fixation without contemplation is circulation without
Light. Contemplation without fixation is Light without circulation.
4. CIRCULATION OF THE LIGHT AND MAKING THE BREATHING RHYTHMICAL
Master Lu Tzu said: The decision must be carried out with a whole
heart, and, the result no sought for; the result will come of itself. In
the first period of release there are chiefly two mistakes: laziness
and distraction. But that can be remedied; the heart must not enter
into the breathing too completely. Breathing comes from the heart.
What comes out of the heart is breath. When the heart stirs, there
develops breath-power. Breath-power is originally transformed
activity of the heart. When our hearts go very fast they
imperceptibly pass into fantasies which are always accompanied
by the drawing of a breath, because this inner and outer breathing
hangs together like tone and echo. Daily we draw innumerable
breaths and have an equal number of fantasy-representations.
And thus the clarity of the spirit is depleted just as wood dries out
and ashes die.
Should a man have no images in his mind? One cannot be without
images. Should one not breathe? One cannot do without
breathing. The best way is to make a cure out of the illness. Since
heart and breath are mutually dependent, the circulation of the
Light must be united with the rhythm of breathing. For this, Light of
the ear is above all necessary. There is a Light of the eye and a
Light of the ear. The Light of the eye is the united Light of the sun
and moon outside. The Light of the ear is the united seed of sun
and moon within. The seed is also the Light in crystallized form. Both have the same origin and are
different only in name. Therefore, understanding (ear) and clarity (eye) are one and the same effective
Light.
In sitting down, after dropping the lids, one establishes a plumb-line with the eyes and shifts the Light
downward. But if the transposition downward is not successful, then the heart is directed toward
listening to the breathing. One should not be able to hear with the ear the outgoing and inhaling of the
breath. What one hears is that it has no tone. As soon as it has tone, the breathing is rough and
superficial, and does not penetrate into what is fine. Then the heart must be made quite light and
insignificant. The more it is released, the less important it becomes; the less important, the quieter. All
at once it becomes so quiet that it stops. Then the true breathing is manifested and the form of the
heart can be made conscious. When the heart is light, the breathing is light, for every movement of the
heart brings about breathing power. If breathing is light, the heart is light, for every movement of the
breath affects the heart. In order to steady the heart, one begins by cultivating the breathing power.
The heart cannot be influenced directly. Therefore the breathing power is used as a handle, and this is
what is called protecting the collected breathing power.
Children, do you not understand the nature of motion? Motion can be produced by outside means. It is
only another name for mastery. One can make the heart move merely by running. Should one not be
able to bring it to rest then by concentrated quietness? The great holy ones who knew how the heart
and breathing power mutually influence one another, have thought out an easier procedure as a way of
helping posterity.
In the Book of the Elixir, it is said: The hen can hatch her eggs because her heart is always listening.
That is an important magic spell. The reason the hen can hatch her eggs is because of the power to
heat. But the power of the heat can only warm the shells; it cannot penetrate into the interior. Therefore
with her heart she conducts this power inward. This she does with her hearing. In this way ash
concentrates her whole heart. When the heart penetrates, the power penetrates, and the chick
receives the power of the heart and begins to live. Therefore a hen, even when she has left her eggs,
always has the attitude of listening with a bent ear. Thus the concentration of the spirit is not
interrupted. Because the concentration of the spirit suffers no interruption, neither does the power of
heat suffer interruption day or night, and the spirit awakes to life. The awakening of the spirit is
accomplished because the heart has first died. When a man can let his heart die, then the primordial
spirit wakes to life. To kill the heart does not mean to let it dry and wither away, but it means that it is
undivided and gathered into one.
Buddha said: When you fix your heart on one point, then nothing is impossible for you. The heart easily
runs away, so it is necessary to gather it together by means of breathing power. Breathing power
easily becomes coarse, therefore it has to be refined by the heart. When that is done, can it then
happen that it is not fixed?
The two mistakes of laziness and distraction must be combated by quiet work that is carried on daily
without interruption; then results will certainly be achieved. If one is not seated during meditation, one
will often be distracted without noticing it. To become conscious of the inattention is the mechanism by
which to do away with inattention. Laziness of which a man is conscious, and laziness o f which he is
unconscious, are many miles apart. Unconscious laziness is real laziness; conscious laziness is not
complete laziness, because there is still some clarity in it. Distraction comes from letting the spirit
wander about; laziness comes from the spirit not yet being pure. Distraction is much easier to correct
than laziness. It is as in sickness if one feels pains and itches, one can help them with remedies, but
laziness is like a disease that is attended by loss of feeling. Distraction can be overcome, confusion
can be straightened out, but laziness and absent-minded are heavy and dark. Distraction and
confusion at least have a place, but in laziness and absent-mindedness the anima alone is active. In
inattention the animus is still present, but in laziness pure darkness rules. If one becomes sleepy
during meditation, that is an effect of laziness. Breathing alone serves to remove laziness. Although
the breath that flows in and out through the nose is not the true breath, the flowing in and out of the
true breath is connected with it.
While sitting, one must, therefore, always keep the heart quiet and the power concentrated. How can
the heart be made quiet? By breathing. The heart alone must be conscious of the flowing in and out of
the breath; it must not be heard with the ears. If it is not heard, then the breathing is light; if light, it is
pure. If it can be heard, then the breathing power is heavy; if heavy, then it is troubled; if it is troubled,
then laziness and absent-mindedness develop and one wants to sleep. That is self-evident.
How to use heart correctly during breathing must be understood. It is use without use. One need only
let the Light fall quite gently on the hearing. This sentence contains a secret meaning. What does it
mean to let the Light fall? It is the radiance of the Light of one's own eyes. The eye looks inward and
not outward. To sense brightness without looking outward means to look inward; it has nothing to do
with an actual looking within. What does hearing mean? It is hearing the Light of one's own ear. The
ear listens only within and does not listen to what is outside. To sense brightness without listening to
what is outside, is to listen to what is within; it has nothing to do with actually listening to what is within.
In this sort of hearing, one only hears that there is no sound; in this kind of seeing, one only sees that
no shape is there. If the eye is not looking outward and the ear is not harkening outward, they close
themselves and are inclined to sink inward. Only when one looks and harkens inward does the organ
not go outward nor sink inward. In this way laziness and absent-mindedness are done away with. That
is the union of the seed and the Light of the sun and moon.
If, as a result of laziness, one becomes sleepy, one should stand up and walk about. When the spirit
has become clear one can sit down again. If there is time in the morning, one may sit during the
burning of an incense candle, that is the best. In the afternoon, human affairs interfere and one can
therefore easily fall into laziness. It is not necessary to have an incense candle. But one must lay aside
all complications and sit quite still for a time. In the course of time there will be success without one's
getting lazy and falling asleep.
5. MISTAKES DURING THE CIRCULATION OF THE LIGHT
Master Lu Tzu said: Your work will gradually draw itself together and mature, but before you reach the
condition in which you sit like a withered tree before a cliff, there are many other possibilities of error
which I would ;like to bring to your special attention. These conditions are only recognized when they
have been personally experienced. I will enumerate them here, My school differs from the Buddhist
yoga school, in that it has confirmatory signs for each step of the way. First I would like to speak of the
mistakes and then the confirmatory signs.
When one sets out to carry out one's decision, care must be taken to see that everything can proceed
in a comfortable, easy manner. Too much must not be demanded of the heart. On must be careful t
hat, quite automatically, heart and power correspond to one another. Only then can a state of
quietness be attained. During the quiet state the right conditions and the right place must be provided.
One must not sit down (to meditate) in the midst of frivolous affairs. That is to say, one must not have
any vacuities in the mind. All entanglements must be put aside and one must be supreme and
independent. Nor must the thoughts be directed toward the right procedure. If too much trouble is
taken there is danger of doing this. I do not mean that no trouble is to be taken, but the right behavior
lies in the middle way between being and non-being. If one can attain purposelessness through
purpose, then the thing has been grasped. Supreme and without confusion, one goes along in an
independent way. Furthermore, one must not fall victim to the ensnaring world. The ensnaring world is
where the five kinds of dark demons disport themselves.
This is the case, for example, when, after fixation, one has chiefly thoughts of dry wood and dead
ashes, and few thoughts of the resplendent spring on the great earth. In this way one sinks into the
world of darkness. The power is cold there, breathing is heavy, and many images of coldness and
decay display themselves. If one tarries there long one enters the world of plants and stones.
Nor must a man be led astray by the ten thousand ensnarements. This happens if, after the quiet state
has begun, one after another all sorts of ties suddenly appear. One wants to break through them and
cannot; one follows them, and feels relieved by this. This means the matter has become a servant. If a
man tarries in this state long he enters the world of illusory desires.
At best, one goes to Heaven; at the worst, one goes among the fox-spirits. Such a fox-spirit might also
occupy himself in the famous mountains enjoying the wind and the moon, the flowers and fruits, and
taking his pleasure in coral trees and jeweled grass. But after he has been occupied thus for three to
five hundred years, or at the most, for a couple of thousand years, his reward is over and he is born
again into the world of turmoil.
All of these are wrong paths. When a man knows the wrong paths, he can then inquire into the
confirmatory signs.
6. CONFIRMATORY EXPERIENCES DURING THE CIRCULATION OF THE LIGHT
Master Lu Tzu said: There are many kinds of confirmatory
experiences. One must not content oneself with small demands
but must rise to the thought that all living creatures have to be
freed. It is not permissible to be trivial and irresponsible in heart.
One must strive to make deeds one's words.
If, when there is quiet, the spirit has continuously and
uninterruptedly a sense of great gaiety as if intoxicated or freshly
bathed, it is a sign that the Light principle in the whole body is
harmonious; then the Golden Flower begins to bud. When,
furthermore, all openings are quiet, and the silver moon stands in
the middle of Heaven, and one has the feeling that the great earth
is a world of light and brilliancy, that is a sign that the body of the
heart opens itself to clarity. It is a sign that the Golden Flower is
opening.
Furthermore, the whole body feels strong and firm so that it fears
neither storm nor frost. Things by which other men are displeased,
when I meet them, cannot cloud the brightness of the seed of the
spirit. Yellow gold fills the house; the steps are white jade. Rotten
and stinking things on earth that come in contact with one breath
of true power will immediately live again. Red blood becomes milk.
The fragile body of the flesh is sheer gold and diamonds. That is a
sign that the Golden Flower is crystallized.
The Book of Successful contemplation says: The sun sinks in the
Great Water and magic pictures of trees in rows arise. The setting
sun means that in Chaos (in the world before phenomena, that is, intelligible world), a foundation is
laid: that is the condition free of opposites. Highest good is like water, pure and spotless. It is the ruler
of the Great Polarity, the god who is revealed in the sign for that which greatly disturbs, Chen. Chen is
also symbolized by wood, wherefore the images of trees in rows appears. A sevenfold row of trees
means the light of the seven body-openings (or heart-openings). In the northwest is the direction of the
creative. When it moves on one place farther, the abysmal is there. The sun which sinking into the
Great Water is the image for the creative and abysmal. The abysmal is the direction of midnight
(mouse, north). At the winter solstice the thunder (Chen) is in the middle of the earth quite hidden and
covered up. Only when the sign Chen is reached, does the Light-pole come over the earth again. That
is the picture representing the row of trees. The rest can be correspondingly inferred.
The second part refers to the building of the foundation on this. The great world is like ice, a glassy
world of jewels. The brilliancy of the Light is gradually crystallized. That is why a great terrace arises
and upon it, in the course of time, Buddha appears. When the Golden Being appears who should it be
but Buddha? For Buddha is the Golden Saint of the Great Enlightenment. This is a great confirmatory
experience.
Now there are these confirmatory experiences which can be tested. The first is that, when one has
entered the state of meditation, the gods are in the valley. Men are heard talking as though at a
distance of several hundred paces, each one quite clear. But the sounds are all like an echo in a
valley. One can always hear them, but never oneself. This is called the presence of the gods in the
valley.
At times the following can be experienced: as soon as one is quiet, the Light of the eyes begins to
blaze up, so that everything before one becomes quite bright as if one were in a cloud. If one opens
one's eyes and seeks the body, it is not to be found any more. This is called: In the empty chamber it
grows light. Inside and outside, everything is equally light. That is a very favorable sign. Or, when one
sits in meditation, the fleshly body becomes quite shining like silk or jade. It seems difficult to remain
sitting; one feels as if drawn upward. This is called: The spirit returns and pushes against Heaven. In
time, one can experience it in such a way that one really floats upward.
And now it is possible to leave all three of these experiences. But not everything can be expressed.
Different things appear to each person according to his gifts. If one experiences these things, it is a
sign of a good aptitude. With these things it is just as it is when one drinks water. One can tell for
oneself whether the water is swarm or cold. In the same way a man must convince himself about these
experiences, then only are they real.
7. THE LIVING MANNER OF THE CIRCULATION OF THE LIGHT
Master Lu Tzu said: When there is gradual success in producing the circulation of the Light, a person
must not give up their ordinary occupation in doing it. The ancients said: When occupations come to
us, we must accept them; when things come to us, we must understand them from the ground up. If
the occupations are regulated by correct thoughts, the Light is not scattered by outside things, but
circulates according to its own law. Even the still-invisible circulation of the Light gets started this way,
how much more then is it the case with the true circulation of the Light which has already manifested
itself clearly. When in ordinary life one has the ability always to react to things by reflexes only, without
any admixture of a thought of others or of himself, that is a circulation of the Light arising out of
circumstances. It is the first secret.
8. A MAGIC SPELL FOR THE FAR JOURNEY
Master Lu Tzu said: Yu Ching has left behind him a magic spell for the Far Journey:
Words crystallize the spirit in the place of power.
The sixth month the white snow is suddenly seen to fly.
The third watch the disk of the sun sends out shining rays.
The water blows the wind of gentleness.
Wandering in Heaven, one eats the spirit-power of the receptive.
The deeper secret within the secret:
land that is nowhere, that is the true home.
These verses are full of mystery. The meaning is: The most important thing in the Great Meaning is the
four words: non-action in action. Non-action prevents a person from becoming entangled in form and
image (substantiality). Action in non-action prevents a person from sinking into numbing emptiness and
a dead nothingness. The effect is in the two eyes. The two eyes are like the pole of the Great Wain
which turns the whole of creation; the cause the poles of Light and darkness to rotate. The Elixir
depends from beginning to end on the One; the metal in the middle of the water, that is, the lead in the
water-region. Heretofore we have spoken of the circulation of the Light, indicating thereby the initial
release which works from without upon what lies within. This is to aid one in obtaining the Master. It is
for the pupils in the beginning stages. They go through the two lower transitions in order to gain the
upper one. After the sequence of events is clear and the nature of the release is known, Heaven no
longer withholds the Meaning, but reveals the ultimate truth. Disciples keep it secret and hold to it
strictly!
The circulation of the Light is the inclusive term.
The further the work advances, the more can the
Golden Flower bloom. But there is a still more
marvelous kind of circulation. Til now we have
worked from the outside on what is within; now
we tarry in the center and rule what is external.
Hitherto, it was a service in aid of the Master;
now it is a dissemination of the commands of this
Master. The whole relationship is now reversed.
If one wants to penetrate the more delicate
regions by this method, one must first see to it
that the body and heart are completely
controlled, that one is quite free and at peace,
letting go of all entanglements, untroubled by the
slightest excitement, with the Heavenly Heart
exactly in the middle. Then let one lower the lids
of the two eyes as if one received a holy edict, a
summons to the minister. Who would dare
disobey? Then one illumines the house of the
abysmal (water) with both eyes. Wherever the
Golden Flower appears, the true Light of polarity
goes out to meet it. The principle of that which adheres to (lightness), is light outside and dark within; it
is the body of the creative. Darkness enters and becomes master. The results is that the heart
(consciousness), becomes dependent on things, is directed outward, and is tossed about on the
stream. When the rotating Light shines within the heart, it does not become dependent on things, the
power of the dark is limited, and the Golden Flower shines with concentration. It is then the collected
Light of polarity. Things that are related attract each other. Thus does the polarity Light-line of the
abysmal press upward. It is not only the Light in the abyss, but it is creative Light meeting creative
Light. As soon as these two substances meet each other, they unite inseparably, and unceasing life
begins; it comes and goes, and rises and falls of itself, in the house of primordial power. One is aware
of effulgence and infinity. The whole body feels lighter and would like to fly. This is the state of which it
is said: Clouds fill the thousand mountains. Gradually it (life) goes here and there quite quietly; it rises
and falls imperceptibly. The pulse stands still and breathing stops. This is the moment of true creative
unity, the state of which it is said: The moon gathers up the ten thousand waters. In the midst of this
darkness, the Heavenly Heart suddenly begins a movement. This is the return of the one Light, the
time when the child comes to life.
But the details of this must be carefully explained. When a person looks at something, listens to
something, eyes and ears move and follow the things until they have passed. These movements are
all underlings, and when the Heavenly ruler follows them in their tasks, it means: To live together with
demons.
If now, during every movement and every moment of rest, a person lives together with people and not
with demons, then the Heavenly ruler is the t rue man. When he moves and we move with him, the
movement is the root of Heaven. When he is quiet and we are quiet with him, this quietness is the cave
of the moon. When he continues to alternate movement and quietness, one ought to go on with him
unceasingly in movement and quietness. If he rises and falls with inhaling and exhaling, we must rise
and fall with him. That is what is called going to and fro between the root of Heaven and the cave of
the moon.
When the Heavenly Heart still preserves calm, movement before the right time is a fault of softness.
When the Heavenly Heart has already moved, the movement that follows afterwards, corresponding
with it, is a fault or rigidity. As soon as the Heavenly Heart is stirring, one must immediately mount with
all one's feeling to the house of the creative. Thus the Light of the spirit sees the summit that is the
leader. This movement is in accord with the time. The Heavenly Heart rises to the summit of the
creative, where it expands in complete freedom. Then suddenly it wants the deepest silence, and one
must lead it speedily and with one's whole being into the yellow castle. Thus the eyes behold the
central yellow dwelling place of the spirit.
When the desire for silence comes, not a single thought arises; he who is look ing inward suddenly
forgets that he looks. At this time, body and heart must be left completely free. All entanglements
disappear without trace. Then I no longer know at what place the house of my spirit and my crucible
are. If a man wants to make certain of his body, he cannot get at it. This condition is the penetration of
Heaven into earth, the time when all wonders return to their roots.
The One is the circulation of the Light. If one begins, it is at first scattered and one tries to collect it; the
six senses are not active. This is the care and nourishment of one's own origin, the filling up of the oil
when one goes to receive life. When one is far enough to have gathered it, one feels light and free and
need take no further trouble. This is the quieting of the spirit in the space of the ancestors, the taking
possession of former Heaven.
When one is so far advanced that every shadow and every echo has disappeared, so that one is quiet
and firm, it is safe within the cave of power, where all that is miraculous returns to its roots. The place
is not changed but divides itself. It is incorporeal space where a thousand and ten thousand places are
one place. The time is not changed, but divides itself. It is immeasurable time when all the eons are
like a moment.
As long as the heart has not attained complete peace, it cannot move itself. One moves the movement
and forgets the movement; this is not movement in itself. Therefore it is said: If, when stimulated by
external things, one is moved, it is the instinct of the being. If, when not stimulated by external things,
one is moved, it is the movement of Heaven. The being that is placed over against Heaven, can fall
and come under the domination of the instincts. The instincts are based upon the fact that there are
external things. They are thoughts that go on beyond their own position. Then movement leads to
movement. But, when no idea arises, the right ideas come. That is the true idea. If things are quiet and
one is quite firm, the release of Heaven suddenly moves. Is this not a movement without purpose?
Action in inaction has the same meaning.
As to the beginning of the poem, the first two lines refer entirely to the activity of the Golden Flower.
The two next lines are concerned with the mutual interpenetration of sun and moon. The sixth month is
the adhering fire. The white snow that flies, is the true darkness of polarity in the middle of the fire sign,
that is about to turn into the receptive. The third watch is the abysmal water. The sun's disk is the one
polar line in the sign for water, which is about to turn into the creative. In this is contained the way to
take the sign for the abysmal and the way to reverse the sign for the adhering fire. The following two
lines have to do with the activity of the pole of the Great Wain, the rise and fall of the whole release of
polarity. Water is the sign of the abysmal; the eye is the wind of softness. The light of the eyes
illumines the house of the abysmal, and controls there the seed of the great Light. "In Heaven" means
the house of the creative. "Wandering, in Heaven, one eats the spirit-power of the receptive." This
shows how the spirit penetrates the power, and how Heaven penetrates the earth; this happens so that
the fire can be nourished.
This version of the Secret of the Golden Flower was translated by Walter Picca in 1964 as part of his
work with the Church of the Word of God to “explain the doctrine of desire-imagination to win the
promise of God.” Much of group’s work survives in the Temple.

 To nourish the vital energy, keep watch in silence;

In order to subdue the mind, act with non-action.

Of movement and stillness, be aware of their origin;

There is no work to do, much less someone to seek.

The true and constant must respond to phenomena;

Responding to phenomena, you must be unconfused.

When unconfused, the nature will stabilize by itself;

When the nature stabilizes, energy returns by itself.

When energy returns, the elixir crystallizes by itself;

Within the pot, the trigrams of heaven and earth are joined.

Yin and yáng arise, alternating over and over again;

Every transformation comes like a clap of thunder.

White clouds form and come to assemble at the peak;

The sweet nectar sprinkles down Mount Sumeru.

Swallow for yourself this wine of immortality;

You wander so freely—who is able to know you?

Sit and listen to the tune played without strings;

Clearly understand the mechanism of creation.

It comes entirely from these twenty lines;

A true ladder going straight to Heaven.-Daoist text

Behold the beauty within you
You expend what is not true
Imaginations... superstitions
These are the truly mind's addictions
As you project, thus is will come
A God can save you..but so far
What you forget,my dumb grasshopper
Is that you're god..
Only you're dumber
When you'll awake to your true bliss
You'll meet the kripto joy,and kiss:)
But till you wake up...worship please..
My 12 inch stone lingam on your reach
Is the one you must not ditch
Extend your faith..and sing ..baluyahhhh..
Enjoy the kripto's ..halleluyah!
For I am you,and never left..
I am the beauty, and the bliss
If you want gods..many I miss
But they are born from my desire..
When Kripto kisses..he's on fire
Then kripto cools if you're ok..
Kiss my lingam..trust my way!!...
Thus spokenth the mahayogi..
