*note*..I've always been a fan of these old japanese buddhists masters...is obviously some past life I was some samurai..but of course,I didn't get realization back then(or enlightenment in my past life,otherwise I'd not have incarnated as the Kripto..the mighty one,loved in the 3 realms,,etc.. worshiped in 10..celebrated in 19th??..)
First of all..you must be aware that only the subconscious re-incarnates..so your ego(the sense of I am) goes away after death...unless REALIZED,of course..then you decide...but unless you know your true nature,you will suffer in the realm of duality as long as you figure out the escape...in yourself.
Now..this guy...Miyamoto Musashi...this samurai was good..he never lost one battle.and he wrote the ,,book of 5 rings,, just before he died from the common cold...at 61 years old...he should have taken his vitamins,I reckon.
Fascinating book he wrote...The book of 5 rings
And he hinted at the truth on the book of the void...indeed.
But I present you here the Book of The void..he wrote this on Twelfth day of the fifth month, second year of Shoho (1645).just before he died in peace..kisses to him....:)
Thus spokenth the mahayogi.

THE BOOK OF THE VOIDkisses:)
..........
The Ni To Ichi Way of strategy is recorded in this the Book of the Void.
What is called the spirit of the void is where there is nothing. It is not included in man's knowledge. Of course the void is nothingness. By knowing things that exist, you can know that which does not exist. That is the void.(he explains the source..added by danny)
People in this world look at things mistakenly, and think that what they do not understand must be the void. This is not the true void. It is bewilderment.
In the Way of strategy, also, those who study as warriors think that whatever they cannot understand in their craft is the void. This is not the true void.
To attain the Way of strategy as a warrior you must study fully other martial arts(he means all the spiritual practices..added by danny) and not deviate even a little from the Way of the warrior.(the one whom wants the truth..added by danny) With your spirit settled, accumulate practice day by day, and hour by hour. Polish the twofold spirit heart and mind, and sharpen the twofold gaze perception and sight. When your spirit is not in the least clouded, when the clouds of bewilderment clear away, there is the true void.
(be careful of what he says..he speaks about the state beyond life or death..added by danny)
Until you realize the true Way,(the power withing you..the source of YOU..added by danny) whether in Buddhism or in common sense, you may think that things are correct and in order. However, if we look at things objectively, from the viewpoint of laws of the world, we see various doctrines departing from the true Way. Know well this spirit, and with forthrightness as the foundation and the true spirit as the Way. Enact strategy broadly, correctly and openly.
Then you will come to think of things in a wide sense and, taking the void as the Way, you will see the Way as void.
In the void is virtue, and no evil.(because is unity between the opposites...evil is refusing the source..added by danny)
Wisdom has existence, principle has existence, the Way has existence, spirit is nothingness.(he means spirit is above existence,or the way..is the witness,yet everything occurs in him,by the power of her(shakti..or energy)...like the light is dual... wave and intelligence ..wave and particle...one and yet individual...power as many,yet unique ...added by danny)
Twelfth day of the fifth month, second year of Shoho((1645)
To nourish the vital energy, keep watch in silence;
In order to subdue the mind, act with non-action.
Of movement and stillness, be aware of their origin;
There is no work to do, much less someone to seek.
The true and constant must respond to phenomena;
Responding to phenomena, you must be unconfused.
When unconfused, the nature will stabilize by itself;
When the nature stabilizes, energy returns by itself.
When energy returns, the elixir crystallizes by itself;
Within the pot, the trigrams of heaven and earth are joined.
Yīn and yáng arise, alternating over and over again;
Every transformation comes like a clap of thunder.
White clouds form and come to assemble at the peak;
The sweet nectar sprinkles down Mount Sumeru.
Swallow for yourself this wine of immortality;
You wander so freely—who is able to know you?
Sit and listen to the tune played without strings;
Clearly understand the mechanism of creation.
It comes entirely from these twenty lines;
A true ladder going straight to Heaven.-Daoist text -
To us all towns are one, all men our kin. Life's good comes not from others' gift, nor ill. Man's pains and pains' relief are from within. Thus have we seen in visions of the wise !." - Tamil Poem-
