All I needed was the heat and warmth
And all I got was the winter of Vuvuzelas trumpets
Blowing all the time at 2 degrees Celsius....
My ears hurt,for kripto's sake!
Or 35 Fahrenheit
Next time when I go there in July
Remind me to dress like an Eskimos
So I won't freeze my ass off
In the African heat.
Follow your true essence inside you
That is beyond heat or cold
It is always cool...

ps..Waka Waka "Waka Waka" was written by Shakira and John Hill and co-produced by John Hill. The track, which samples the chorus of the 1986 Cameroonian hit song "Zangaléwa", by Cameroonian band Golden Sounds, features Afro-Colombian instrumentation, Soca beat and South African guitars. The song consists of rhythmical African sounds, and represents the vitality and energy of the host continent.Indian music composers Salim and Sulaiman Merchant also collaborated with South African singer Loyiso Bala and Kenyan singer Eric Wainaina to record the anthem for FIFA World Cup 2010.

The "Weapon of Choice" video won six MTV awards in 2001. As one of the video's MTV "Moonmen" was for Best Choreography, Walken became a Video Music Award winner. The clip was also cited as the best video of all time in April 2002, in a list of the top 100 videos of all time that was compiled from a music industry survey by VH1. *note* interesting quotes from Aziz Kristof..(I got him from the Sarlo guru rating map" again..never ask me how I know they speak wisdom...be a mahayogi like me,and then you'll be able to know, dear you..kisses ....(added by danny the kripto) Aziz Kristof talks now..We can say that there are two dimensions of Me: one in motion, and one “in itself,” so to speak. Me in motion, is the movement of intelligence, thoughts, feelings, the ability to create self-image and so forth. Me “in itself” is a complete and self-contained experience of our whole being, in the state of pure rest. Me “in itself” is what most people ignore, that is, are unaware of its very existence. Ignorance, in the case of human beings is very particular. All human beings sense the Me. That itself is a sign of a high level of evolution. But we are not sufficiently aware of what, in reality, is sensed. The attention of the human mind is constantly identified with thoughts and perception, most often spent in a state of day dreaming. The sense of Me is functioning merely as a self-conscious mechanism within the mind, so it can become self-attentive to its own psychological-mental activity. The excessive identification with the Me in motion, and the unawakened awareness of Me in itself, are the symptoms of what is called ignorance." - Aziz Kristof -added by danny..

....... Glacier Erasure
2010 Darwin Award In the late fall and early winter months, snow-covered mountains become infested with hunters. One ambitious pair climbed high up a mountain in search of their quarry. The trail crossed a small glacier that had crusted over. The lead hunter had to stomp a foot-hold in the snow, one step at a time, in order to cross the glacier.
Somewhere near the middle of the glacier, his next stomp hit not snow but a rock. The lead hunter lost his footing and fell. Down the crusty glacier he zipped, off the edge and out of sight.
Unable to help, his companion watched him slide away. After a while, he shouted out, "Are you OK?"
"Yes!" came the answer.
Reasoning that it was a quick way off the glacier, the second hunter plopped down and accelerated down the ice, following his friend. There, just over the edge of the glacier, was his friend...holding onto the top of a tree that barely protruded from the snow.
There were no other treetops nearby, nothing to grab, nothing but a hundred-foot drop onto the rocks below. As the second hunter shot past the first, he uttered his final epitaph: a single word, which we may not utter lest our mothers soap our mouths. ..

The Diva Dance opera performance featured music from Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor : "Il dolce suono", the mad scene of Act III, Scene II, and was sung by Albanian sopranoInva Mula-Tchako, while the role of Plavalaguna was played by French actress Maïwenn Le Besco. .............. Narcissus Disappearing
Here’s more on the action of attention as the origin of self-contraction.
Important Note: As in the previous article on this, these pictures are only abstract schemas. They are not literal, and also do not suggest any kind of practice.
This first picture is a representation of what happens in the action of narrow focused attention on self, which is the usual mode in normal adult consciousness:

awareness
The next picture shows what happens when attention on self and silent awareness are fully integrated into oneness:
*note* just click right on the mouse, and select,,view image,, to see the whole image, and the text..I meant click on right click of the mouse on the picture, not on this text..what's the matter with you,grasshoppers?..I still love you..kisses:)
-added by danny-integration
When this happens “Narcissus” – which is the origin of self-contraction – is completely gone. Note that you still have a self, a self-image focus, but that your consciousness of it is totally and completely different. This shift in consciousness in regard to self-awareness is what ends suffering.

Rock me all the time to the top
He was a Punker
And he lived in the big city
It was Vienna, was Vienna
Where he did everything
He had debts, for he drank
But all the women loved him
And each one shouted:
Come on and rock me Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, oh oh oh Amadeus
He was Superstar
He was popular
He was so exalted
Because he had flair
He was a virtuose
Was a rock idol
And everyone shouted:
Come on and rock me Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, oh oh oh Amadeus
Come on and rock me Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, oh oh oh Amadeus
It was around 1780
And it was in Vienna
No plastic money anymore
The banks against him
From which his debts came
It was common knowledge
He was a women's man
Women loved his punk
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, oh oh oh Amadeus
Come and rock me Amadeus...

-added by danny-
......... Real Freedom
Pure Awareness is the utter stillness and silence that is in you behind all experiences that you have. It is what is aware of those experiences, or of any experiences. It is not itself an experience but that which is aware of experiences. Because of this we can see that it is “no-thing-ness,” i.e. it is not a thing in any way (i.e. a content presented to your awareness), nor does it have any of the qualities of any thing. Because of this, it has none of any of the limitations or boundaries of things. And so, it is complete, absolute freedom.
But Pure Awareness, in and of itself, is not awake to itself. It is as if it is in deep dreamless sleep, in complete stillness but unknowing of itself. In fact, it is so asleep to itself that for most of us, even though it is always already there deep inside ourselves, we do not even know of its existence. This is just another way of saying that Pure Awareness is asleep to itself. It is asleep to itself in us because we have not woken up to it and realized it.
Free-Beingness, as the realization that I teach, is functioning on the level where this sleeping Pure Awareness comes fully awake to itself in you, in all your experiences (including your whole body-mind, sense of self, and unique individuality.)
When Pure Awareness is fully awake to itself, even in your most intimate sensory experiences of yourself and your body then you concretely and tangibly realize the sublime bliss of absolute freedom in “no-thing-ness.” This is because then no experience that you have, in the entire field of your experiences, has a sense of a limiting boundary that can stop or hinder your freedom in any way.
The supreme sublime pleasure of life comes from this realization of absolute freedom in all experiences. This is the supreme bliss of Free-Beingness.
Your ego – your unique personal individuality – still exists but it is radically transformed by this realization. As in all other experiences, in your new experience of ego you no longer sense boundaries that limit you even though the forms and appearances, and even the sensations of boundaries, remain. In all the forms of these appearances there is fully awakened Pure Awareness, the supreme bliss of absolute freedom.
Your ego becomes filled with this supreme bliss of freedom. the sublime pure radiance of Pure Awareness fully awake to itself. You become a living embodiment of Pure Awareness fully alive and radiant in itself.
In fact, an ego that is fully developed and realized in this way, is the only way that Pure Awareness can come fully awake to itself, fully alive in itself. This is because the process of experiencing, of the ego focusing on specific “things” (contents of consciousness), is the only way that Pure Awareness can have anything presented to itself, and thereby become aware of anything at all. When you become fully realized, all experiences are just Pure Awareness being presented to itself. But this can happen only in an ego, in an experiencer who has first developed the ability to have specific discrete experiences.
When you as a self (an ego) live and embody Pure Awareness fully awake and alive to itself, your unique personal individuality becomes a spontaneous and free flow of the supreme radiant bliss of absolute freedom into all the many and varied forms of your unique personal expression. Your life becomes a radiance of Awareness-Bliss.
You live the supreme bliss of being “free as a bird” while fully engaged in all the forms and structures of your egoic experiencing. But these forms and structures no longer limit the bliss of your freedom. You now realize that they are the means for your bliss and freedom, because they are what make Pure Awareness awake to itself in you.
And so, you as you are no longer the you that you thought you were but become a bliss-filled transcendent you that embodies the radiance of Pure Awareness in all you do and experience. You become truly and fully you.
You are an incarnation of Pure Radiant Blissful Beingness – which is really nothing other than the inner stillness of Pure Awareness that you already always are, have been and will always be, because it is just the simple awareness by which you are aware of any experience.
But now you know.

*note* lovely song Puff the magic dragon quote"The lyrics for "Puff, the Magic Dragon" were based on a 1959 poem by Leonard Lipton, a 19-year-old Cornell University student. Lipton was inspired by an Ogden Nash poem titled "Custard the Dragon," about a "realio, trulio little pet dragon."
Lipton was friends with Peter Yarrow's housemate when they were all students at Cornell. He used Yarrow's typewriter to get the poem out of his head." Anyway..I'll post the lyrics..here they are:
Puff, the magic kripto,
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In a land called nirvanas swamis, see?
Little Jackie Paper Loved that rascal Puff, And brought him strings and sealing wax And other fancy stuff. Puff, the magic dragon Lived by the sea And frolicked in the autumn mist In a land called Honah Lee. Oh! Puff, the magic dragon Lived by the sea And frolicked in the autumn mist In a land called Honah Lee. Together they would travel On a boat with billowed sail. Jackie kept a lookout perched On Puff`s gigantic tail. Noble kings and princes Would bow whene`er they came, Pirate ships would lower their flags When Puff roared out his name. Oh! Puff, the magic dragon Lived by the sea And frolicked in the autumn mist In a land called Honah Lee. Oh! Puff, the magic dragon Lived by the sea And frolicked in the autumn mist In a land called Honah Lee. A dragon lives forever, But not little girls and boys. Painted wings and giant rings Make way for other toys. One gray night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more And Puff that mighty dragon, He ceased his fearless roar. His head now bent in sorrow, Green scales fell like rain, And Puff no longer went to play Along that cheery lane. Without his life-long friend, He could not be brave, So Puff that mighty dragon Sadly slipped into his cave. Puff, the magic dragon Lived by the sea And frolicked in the autumn mist In a land called Honah Lee. Oh!
Puff, the magic kripto...
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In a land called nirvana sea..you see?
So I composed this never heard stanza
Behold the magic dragon
Wake him up
And he will puff you up
Into immortality
Like kripto was puffed
Why can't you get puffed up too?
I know why..
You are afraid not to become it..
Kisses to the grasshoppers..
Don't be..just puff the magic dragon inside you
And trust the magic dragon powers inside you.
But you must puff it first,so the kripto inside you can puff it back, with amazing powers..beyond your grasshopper beliefs..trust me...
It takes a puff,only one..to became immortal.
Ponder,grasshoppers..one puff.
I know you can do it.

Awareness Itself
by
Ajaan Fuang Jotiko
compiled and Translated by
Thanissaro Bhikkhu (Geoffrey DeGraff)
§ "Whatever you experience, simply be aware of it. You don't have to take after it. The primal heart has no characteristics. It's aware of everything. But as soon as things make contact, within or without, they cause a lapse in mindfulness, so that we let go of awareness, forget awareness in and of itself, and take on all the characteristics of the things that come later. Then we act out in line with them — becoming happy, sad or whatever. The reason we're this way is because we take conventional truths and latch on to them tight. If we don't want to be under their influence, we'll have to stay with primal awareness at all times. This requires a great deal of mindfulness."
§ One of Ajaan Fuang's students was feeling mistreated by the world, and so went to him for consolation. He told her, "What's there to feel mistreated about? You're the one that's swayed under the events that have hit you, that's all. Contemplate what's happening and you'll see that the mind is something separate. Events come passing in and then go passing by. So why be influenced by them? Keep your mind right at the simple awareness that these things come and soon they'll be gone, so why follow them?"
§ "What, really, is yours? When you die, you won't be able to take any of these things with you, so why waste time wanting anything? There's nothing you have to want at all. Make your mind quiet. Make it one. You don't have to concern yourself with your own attainments or those of other people. Simply be aware. That's enough." § "Whenever anything hits you, let it go only as far as 'aware'. Don't let it go all the way into the heart."
§ "All you need to do is keep your sense of simple awareness solid and strong, and nothing will be able to overwhelm you."
§ "Stay with awareness itself at all times — except when you sleep. The minute you wake up, stay right at awareness, and it won't be long before discernment arises."
§ One woman who practiced meditation with Ajaan Fuang came to feel that she had split into two people: one person acting, and one watching. She felt this way both while sitting in meditation and while she wasn't — to the point where she didn't feel like sitting in meditation at all, because she felt that sitting and not sitting were in no way different. She asked him about this, and he told her, "If you don't want to, you don't have to sit. Just keep this sense of 'the watcher' going at all times. Sitting with your eyes closed is simply an external convention. Just keep watching. When the mind and the body become separate like this, the body can't press on the mind. If the body presses on the mind, the mind will have to be under the influence of what goes on in the body."
§ "Right awareness has to be paired with the breath."
§ "To be aware means to be aware as soon as defilement arises, to see defilement and not act under its power."
§ "There's no past here, and no future, only the present. No man, no woman, no sign of any kind at all. There's nothing, not even self. What self there is, is only in a conventional sense."
§ "Once awareness is solid, you have to get above and beyond it."
§ In 1978, one of Ajaan Fuang's students had to move to Hong Kong, and so he set up a small meditation center there. In one of his letters he asked Ajaan Fuang to write out a short outline of the main points of the practice, and this was the answer he received:
"Focus on all six of the elements: earth, water, wind, fire, space, and consciousness. When you're acquainted with each of them, meld them into one, and focus on them until they grow stable and strong. Your energy will gather together until both the body and the mind feel full. When the physical elements are balanced and in harmony, they'll grow full, and the mind will let go of them on its own and turn to oneness. The elements will be one, the mind will be one. So now you turn your attention to the mind. Focus on the mind until you become fully aware of it. Then let go of that awareness, together with whatever knowledge you've gained, and there won't be anything left. Let go even of the events in the present that you're aware of. That's when intuitive discernment will arise, and meditation comes to an end."
§ One night Ajaan Fuang took a group of his students up to sit in meditation at the chedi on top of the hill in Wat Dhammasathit. Looking out to the south, in the inky darkness, they could see the bright lights of the fishing boats far out at sea. He commented, "When you're up on a high place like this, you can see everything." For one woman listening, this had special meaning, because she knew he wasn't referring just to the view from the hill. "To us all towns are one, all men our kin. Life's good comes not from others' gift, nor ill. Man's pains and pains' relief are from within. Thus have we seen in visions of the wise !." - Tamil Poem-
Lead me from dreaming to waking.
Lead me from opacity to clarity.
Lead me from the complicated to the simple.
Lead me from the obscure to the obvious.
Lead me from intention to attention
Lead me from what I'm told I am to what I see I am.
Lead me from confrontation to wide openness. Lead me to the place I never left, Where there is peace, and peace - The Upanishads
*note* lovely video from Rihanna quote"Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born February 20, 1988), better known as Rihanna (pronounced /riˈænə/), is a Barbadian island(not Barbarian) R&B recording artist, songwriter and model." ....beautiful song the Russian Roulette.....the lyrics are here..
Take a breath, take it deep
Calm yourself, he says to me
If you play, you play for keeps
Take a gun, and count to three
I'm sweating now, moving slow
No time to think, my turn to go
[Chorus]
And you can see my heart beating
You can see it through my chest
And I'm terrified but I'm not leaving
Know that I must must pass this test
So just pull the trigger
Say a prayer to yourself
He says close your eyes
Sometimes it helps
And then I get a scary thought
That he's here means he's never lost
(Chorus)
And you can see my heart beating
You can see it through my chest
And I'm terrified but I'm not leaving
Know that I must must pass this test
So just pull the trigger
As my life flashes before my eyes
I'm wondering will I ever see another sunrise?
So many won't get the chance to say goodbye
But it's too late too pick up the value of my life...
So I composed this never heard stanza for her
Behold
Even though I can see your heart beating
Unless you can see it too..
All I can do is love you forever
But if you can see it too..
You become not only the love
But the seeing also...
Ponder,grasshoppers...
Thus spokenth the mahayogi!
Kisses:)

*note* lovely song from Ruth Etting quote" Shine On, Harvest Moon
(from Ziegfeld Follies of 1931)
Words and music by Nora Bayes and Jack Norworth
Ruth Etting, vocal. Recorded July 28, 1931, in New York. Originally issued on Perfect 12737.
This song was first introduced by Nora Bayes and songwriter-husband, Jack Norworth in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1908. Ruth Etting's performance of the song in the Ziegfield Follies of 1931 was a tribute to Nora Bayes. The 1931 production of the Follies was the last to be produced under the direction Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr.; he died shortly thereafter in 1932. It's interesting to note that Nora Bayes recorded this song for Victor in 1910 but it was never released.
"Oh, shine on, shine on, harvest moon up in the sky, I ain't had no lovin' since April, January, June, or July. Snow time ain't no time to stay outdoors and spoon, So shine on, shine on, harvest moon, For me and my gal."
FULL HARVEST MOON
Traditionally, this designation goes to the full moon that occurs closest to the Autumnal (fall) Equinox. The Harvest Moon usually comes in September, but this year (2009) it will fall on Sunday, 4 October. At the peak of the harvest, farmers can work into the night by the light of this moon. Usually the full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the moon seems to rise at nearly the same time each night: just 25 to 30 minutes later across the U.S., and only 10 to 20 minutes later for much of Canada and Europe. Corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice — the chief Indian staples — are now ready for gathering."
So I composed this never heard stanza, and added the magnificent Laurel & Hardy "Shine On Harvest Moon" interpretation (1939)in a classic musical number from "The Flying Deuces".
Behold
The harvest moon
Was always in your heart
Ready for harvesting
But unless you can dance
All you'll have will be
The mighty finger muscle
Pointing to the moon out there
When all the time the moon was in yourself Ready to shine, and harvest you.
Thus spokenth the mahayogi!
kisses to grasshoppers:)

*note* shakti as Shocking Blue band quote"Shocking Blue was a Dutch rock band from The Hague, the Netherlands, formed in 1967. Their biggest hit, "Venus," went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1970, and the band had sold 13.5 million discs by 1973, but the group disbanded in 1974.."
The lyrics are..
Venus Goddess on the mountain top Burning like a silver flame The summit of beauty and love And Venus was her name She's got it Yeah, baby, she's got it I'm your Venus, I'm your fire At your desire Well, I'm your Venus, I'm your fire At your desire Her weapons were her crystal eyes Making every man a man Black as the dark night she was Got what no-one else had Wa! She's got it Yeah, baby, she's got it I'm your Venus, I'm your fire At your desire Well, I'm your Venus, I'm your fire At your desire Goddess on the mountain top Burning like a silver flame The summit of beauty and love And Venus was her name She's got it Yeah, baby, she's got it I'm your Venus, I'm your fire At your desire Well, I'm your Venus, I'm your fire At your desire....
So I wrote this never heard stanza..
Behold
The Shiva's desire is Venus, the shakti
Even though you are my fire
I am the witness of myself
Creating the fire to know myself
Don't push it..Venus..
With one flick of my finger
I can reduce the whole universe to dust
You are me,but I am not you
And never was...
But I created you,because I need you..just don't get too smart
Beloved and radiant Lord of the space before birth, Revealer of essence, Slayer of the ignorance that binds us,
You, who in play have created this universe and permeated all forms in it with never-ending truth. I have been wondering . . .
I have been listening to the songs of creation, I have heard the sacred sutras being sung, and yet still I am curious.
What is this delight-filled universe into which we find ourselves born?
What is this mysterious awareness shimmering everywhere within it?
What are these instinctive energies that undulate through our bodies, moving us into action?
And this “matter” out of which our forms are made - What are these dancing particles of condensed radiance, Are they an illusionist's projection?
What is this power we call Life, appearing as the play of flesh and breath? How may I know this mystery and enter it more deeply?
