In addition to his career as a composer, Orff developed an influential method of music education for children.)named Gassenhauer is a short piece from Carl Orff. The title means "Street Song". His tombstone bears his name, his dates of birth and death, and the Latin inscription "Summus Finis" (the ultimate goal).
